The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Artension CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Artension are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Siguen repitiendo esquemas, con lo cual consiguen aburrirme, al no presentar ninguna novedad en su música. Bored. |
From: Rycheage | Date: June 11, 2003 at 23:28 |
From the stand point of those not normally into things that heavy or technical, Artension have a great knack for rhythm and melody. If you should have such an urge to sample these songs, you might just get a taste for something new. This is a very strong record with very strong individual performances and especially song writing. |
From: Hrudet | Date: June 30, 2003 at 21:21 |
Vitalij's keyboard and piano playing is sensational, the production is high quality and John West is vocally as strong as ever. The songs sound well produced and the dramatic license / flare enhances the songs rather than takes over them. Dream Theater fans are reminded that there is competition out here for the prize of best prog rockers. |

I agree with the last comment(Hrudet) about the essence of the keyboards in here, actually is the highlight of the band without dishonouring the labour of the rest of the instruments...i understand Emilio's appreciation that says it can be boring this kind of repetitive scheme in the music that Artension does and Rycheage's comment could be same one that i have...a solid album...my favourite tracks are "Running Out Of Time","Sacred Pathways","The Emperor","Nightmare","March To Ruin"(great instrumental) & "Nightmare"(the radio edit version)...90/100 |
