If the Audio Samples are anything to go by. This sounds like a great album.

Musically, this is an amazing AOR release but i just can not get around the vocals, which are simply not good enough, or should i say not suited to this kind of music. Not going to bother with naming any particular track as standout as musically they are all fantastic, but just let down imo by the wrong style of vocal. Great pity, as this could've been a real cracker.

I heard only title track and it's amazing. great voice. I want to spend some words for frontiers: I think that frontiers was with us in 1992-1993 ect a lot of "our" bands never died. winger, keel, nelson, journey and others are come back with great realeses then these new bands are very very kick ass. I'm waiting to buy this one.

Not the run of the mill AOR album I was half expecting at all. This takes me back to the mid-late 80's and the typical Melodic rock/AOR discs that were coming out of the UK at the time, as for some reason it has that very Brit sound to it and that something a little bit extra in comparison to others doing this stuff. Nick Workman's vocals it must be said, are not my favourite, but they suit this project down to a tee, and the rest of the performances from the Martin Bros. and Dan Chantry are first class aswell, although as I mentioned before, maybe a little bit more 'Ooomph' in the drum dept. would have enhanced an already really nice sound they have going on here. I especially like the way the keys are used to enhance the song and fit in with the whole sound subtely, rather than completely taking it over ala the White Widdows of this world - rather fab if I do say so. As expected, all the songs are of the high standards we have come to expect from the Martin Bros. and there are no rea

..there are no real weak links on show. 'Staring At The Sun', 'Hearts Of Glass' and 'Stay With Me'are 3 of my particular highlights at the moment, but even after 3 or 4 spins, the rest are not too far behind. Really a rather excellent disc.

I liked this right from the first spin! and now that I have listened to it at least 10 times I love it! I find the vocals are very good & they fit right in with the music. Very good production 9/10

Very accurate comment by Jez...basically he said it all...in my case i've found this a good one but not exceptional...typical AOR album with some modern touches here and there plus some "vintage" sound(late 80's as Jez said)..."Stay With Me" is my favourite but add to that "Into The Wild","Kiss Of Life","One Of A Kind"(catchy song),"Too Young For Wings"(strong ballad),"Hearts Of Glass" & "SOS"...acceptable vocalist and good musicians after all...87/100

very good debut by VEGA and this was no surprise cause from the KICK releases i knew what Nick is capable of!i must say that the keyboards are outstanding, even though a quite modern.the songwriting is satisfying and i think that they might have a unique style!"stay with me","sos","another" the highlights!

Jeewizzz .., what an awesome disc !! Just heard it again for the 10th time and I am still speechless. I saw them playing them live early this year in London and they were fabulous. For me this release is the absolute highlight of the year 2010. Nuff said !!

The potential in this album is huge, too bad it falls just a bit short. There are plenty of factors working in its favor: solid performances, slick production, cool writing, and Nick Workman's vocals. Strangely, I detect hints of similarities to vastly disparate bands -- a tidbit of Simple Minds here, some Queensryche there, even some Cult now and again -- all molded into a modern-sounding AOR. The problem is that it's simply too formulaic; if you're not paying strict attention, after three or four songs you begin to wonder if your CD isn't set on looping playback, because minor tempo changes aside, the songs all begin to sound alike. And don't hold out for any burning guitar solos, because in that true-to-form modern rock style they really don't exist. Still, I enjoy the overall approach to the album, a cleanly-produced modern melodic rock. The title track for me is the standout, although not by much because there's just not enough diversity in the material to notice. 85 / 100
