On Record is April wine's 2nd album, NOT recorded in 74 after EJ. Great album with awesome intro(FARKUS) for You could've Been a Lady. Music between songs was added after recording, by the producer. One of their best. Find AW: LIVE (74) for a treat. NA on CD!! |

If you want to hear a really good song, check out 'You Could Have Been A Lady'. It's one of April Wines best! I have it on a 45 vinyl. It's a very good, but very forgotten song. |

I remember the b-side of Could Have Been a Lady called "Teacher". It was never on any album. Too bad because it is one of AW's best early songs. Great guitar. Love to get a clean copy of that one. |

I have the original album(yeah on vinyl). The one thing that's missing from the CD version are the tracks that connect the songs. there's this haunting music that bridges one track to another. it adds to the whole effect of the album. If you can, get that in vinyl, or see if it's available on disk. It makes an already incredible band, much more exotic. |

Overall, worth three songs that were memorable. "You Could Have Been a Lady", "Drop Your Guns" & "Bad Side of the Moon". The rest is forgetable folk/psychedelic boogie rock. |
