It's that time of the year again: The annual donation drive to cover the site expenses for the year. It will run through October 31, details over on the Heavy Harmonies Forum.
Every donation helps, no matter how small. If you can't afford $20 for the year, give $10. If you can't afford $10, give $5. It's just once a year and keeps the lights on.

If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Toxic Dollz CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Toxic Dollz are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

I love L.A. Guns and like Faster Pussycat, so I'll give this a try, but just looking it over, it already has two strikes against it. One: it looks like one of those bands who couldn't make it at the time and only got released fifteen years later on a shady label. And two: some of the song titles, and ALL of the bandmembers idiotic stage names. Jamii T. Slutt, Traci Studrox, S.S. Teezer? It's like the worst kind of unwitting self-parody: they're a joke and they don't know it. But you know, don't judge a book, etc. I'll give it a listen if I can find it.

The band was formed out of Milwaukee in 1987 by Ricki Martini (d), Jeff "Jab" Bohr (g), Dave London (g) (RIP), Tony Boyd (v), & Troy Kelly (b). Tommy Phillips would replace Tony Boyd as their 2nd singer & would ultimately be replaced again by "Jaime T. Slutt". The band would drop down to one guitarist along the way ("Scott Raw" handling those duties) with "Traci Studrox" replacing Troy Kelly & then being replaced by "S.S. Teezer" as their 3rd bassist. The lineup of Jaime, S.S., Scott, & Ricki would record this lone LP that was released in 1989 (not 1991 as the Retrospect Records reissue listed), as it followed a 7-track Live cassette from 1988. A 3-track EP titled, "Sex" would follow this LP as well as some additional Compilation tracks, Demos & another Live tape in 1996 (most can be found on their website). They dubbed themselves as "The Sleaziest Band in the World" and were influenced by ANA BLACK, POISON, FASTER PUSSYCAT (without the rough vocals), LA GUNS, D'MOLLS, & the SEA HAGS

Most of their performances were in Milwaukee & Chicago, but they also played shows as far as Indiana & Minnesota. They both headlined & supported acts such as TUFF, QUIET RIOT, LOVE/HATE, THE SCREAMING JETS, & VAIN (to name a few). Somewhere along the line "Danny X" would be added as a 2nd guitarist although that formula didn't last long. Their 2nd bassist ("Traci Studrox") played on track #11 on this LP with a couple of other guests listed above. They were also known to play live covers by ALICE COOPER, SNOOP DOGGY DOGG, RICK JAMES, TED NUGENT, DEF LEPPARD, KISS, BILLY IDOL, THE CLASH, COLDIROCKS, & LED ZEPPELIN & came up with something better than might be anticipated based on the whole package & stage names here. I've also read that this band morphed into the group JET STREAM although I don't know how credible that information is.
