THE WEAKER OF THE THREE RELEASES. GREAT AOR FROM SWEDEN.

From: James Date: December 29, 2001 at 16:29
wonderful album. The songs 'Dream On', 'Hold On To Love' and 'That Night' are 10 out of 10's.

From: M. Allen Date: April 29, 2002 at 9:59
AMAZE ME has released three CDs thus far and 'Dream On' is, arguably, the least-impressive, tending to rely on formulaic songwriting rather than coming up with something truly noteworthy. But that aside, it's still a pretty good melodic hard rock album, with clean guitars, some catchy hooks, good harmony vocals, and a polished production. So bottom line, for the melodic hard rock fan this is definitely worth picking up, but it's not as amazing as the other two albums.

ANOTHER GOOD AOR ALBUM , TO BE INCLUDED IN YOUR CATALOG . TRACK ONE ' DREAM ON ' IS AN OUTSTANDING SONG .

From: Lynchomaniac Date: May 1, 2004 at 10:25
Amaze Me, yeah infact they really do especially on this album!

From: Geoff Date: May 25, 2004 at 3:25
Amazed to see it is a popular thought that this is the weakest Amaze Me song. I tend to view this as another gem in a near flawless collection of albums from the band. Once again, if there were real drums the album would be close to perfect. Through these eyes, only 'Wild dogs' prevent this album from being a collection of perfect tunes. Still, one filler and 9 gems is a pretty good ratio. Another killer album with the biggest hooks around!

very mediocre release comparing to their first one.unfortunately this came out with a totaly 'home made' production(listen to the drum machine),the compositions are very predictable, and they lack in terms of power and edge.1997 was indeed a very bad time for all of us who liked the old melodic metal.go for the self titled cd, blindfolded!

From: headbanger4life Date: December 6, 2005 at 4:12
Wow. Seeing these remark above saying that this is the weakest release by these guys has me pumped up to pick up the other two. I loved this one and thought it was a pretty solid AOR release. I recommend giving this one a chance.

Good album. Some wonderful AOR stuff.

From: oliver Date: December 8, 2006 at 15:06
great melodic trax but unfortunately the worst sounding cd in my whole collection (1500 cds). sounds like it was recorded in a small bathromm. itīs a shame cauze the songs are great. trax 8,5/10 sound/production 2/10

From: kipvanpearcy Date: August 1, 2007 at 17:19
The CD is very good, unfortunately the production is just horrible! Worth the listen if you like melodic hard rock though.

From: BIG-TIME Date: February 18, 2008 at 16:40
I agree with the above 2 the production is hideous can't EQ it at all on my sound system without it sounding like it was done in a can. Songs are a bit weak though Dream on is the best I think...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

From: metalmastermusic Date: June 11, 2008 at 9:30
I disagree with most of the above comments to me this is their best release and i have all three. As my friends would say this is a cheese metal album to the core but it just has some very catchy songs. The album starts out strong and slides a bit as it nears the end but overall a solid album worth being in your collection. 80/100.

excellent melodic hard rock release by AMAZE ME .they surely know how to write good songs with nice melodies.the musicianship is average ,but just let the cd play and you will see melodic tunes flowing all over the place!"hold on to love " baby!

I can add that i recommand the japan import cause the bonus track n°11 " i m never coming back" is an atomic bomb.

From: Roxas Date: November 4, 2022 at 10:34
The Amaze me sound has a charm all to itself. I think "Without Your Love" was my intro to the band towards the end of the 20th century. This was the first album and the 1/2 punch of Dream On and It's All Over is pretty flawless. Don't recall the rest so giving it a spin now.

From: 707STAR Date: January 10, 2023 at 23:48
