The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Houston CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Houston are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

The album is a good one and is much better than the first covers disc even though that had a good choice of material. I like the wider choice of stuff here with the only one not hitting the mark being the One Republic track. Particularly good is the Florida Georgia Line 'Cruise' cover, which shows the band can do the fashionable 'Country Rock' thing like the best of them and pull it off easily. Even the Lady Gaga track is quite cool too if you open your mind a little and generally it's nice to hear the band stretching the boundaries and doing something a little different on these two songs. Of the more traditional AOR stuff, the John O'Banion 'Love Is Blind' and Rick Springfields 'Souls' are both top class and the pick of the bunch, whilst the 4 originals are all solid too, making this well worth while picking up. |

i never was a big fan of this band.their music is too soft at my taste too limit pop music.my advice don t change with this record.what a very strange idea to put 6 covers and 4 real songs of the band on this new cd.or they make a full cover cd ,why not ,or they realise a new real record.on the four real songs we have one filler track 10 and three excellent songs tracks 5.8 and 9.for the 6 covers we have a big fillers track 6.tracks 1 and 2 are very very great ,they remind me i ten "taking a cold look".excellent reference.the best cover is track 4 "souls" from rick springfield.tracks 3 and 7 are great but very very pop, limit variety.not for me.the sound and production are perfect ,pure and clear.thumbs up for the producer.with a little more guitar, with a little more balls this guys have the potential to be a real great a o r band.i propose them to cover "hot stuff" from donna summer.this song is a bomb and it s a surprise that any hard rock band cover this hit. |
