If you liked the excellent debut album, then you're gonna go nuts over this one. The anti seems to have been upped a level or 2 compared to album no.1, from the songwriting, which is very consistent throughout, to the production and general sound of the whole disc. It is still sickly sweet, keyboard heavy 80's AOR, but that is exactly what this band is all about. 3 great examples of the Houston sound, I'm Coming Home' which is a memorable lead off single, 'Back To The Summer Of Love' with it's memorable guitar hook that will have you humming for weeks after and 'Just Friends' which is an excellent duet with a great vocal performance from Minnah Karlsson. All the other songs feature strongly too, with no filler amongst it's 10 tracks and 45 minutes playing time. Top class stuff and maybe, just maybe, THE pure AOR disc of the year

Well said Jez! To me, ''24 hours'' and ''On the Radio'' are 2 of the greatest AOR songs of the modern day. This is certainly a huge step above and beyond compared to what the debut brought to us, the audience. Production-wise they have been extincted to a completely superior level, while the fist one severely lacked in this field. It's too early to nominate it ''album of the year'', but after all, I feel it won't be far behind that spot! The result oozes quality all the way. It is simply as retro-sounding AOR as it gets in the year 2013.

"on the radio" is SUPER AWESOME!

For me it is kinda of a weak record...not bad but neither that splendorous IMO...catchy AOR formula used before but without the essential grace to satisfy 100%...comparing it to the band's debut is like being deaf.tracks 1,4,5(nice duet),6,8 & 10 are fine songs for sure but they lack of that specific punch...as i wrote some lines above, not bad but neither good.80/100

Not quite as good as the debut. The magic shines on tracks like 1,2 & 8 but duet with Minnah Karlsson is downright awful. Production is a bit too loud for my taste. I love the softness and "home basement" studio sound of the first album.

I have to admit that this one surprised me a lot. I was not expecting too much at all after the extremely over rated debut that did absolutely nothing for me, this however is really really good. Massive keyboards, great harmonies, chugging riffs and really good songs in the main. Songs such as opener Glory, I'm Coming Home, Back To The Summer Of Love, 24 Hours and On The Radio deserve to be heard over and over again. No real fillers to speak of to be honest just pretty good songs. A definate improvement over the bands debut release in almost every way, which leaves me quite looking forward to the next one which i never thought i would say.
