If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Riot CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Riot are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Is this CD already remastered? If not, it badly needed be. This is my only Riot CD and I can say that this is Traditional Heavy Metal. Just noticed that Mark Reale just use the more recognizable/simple pentatonic/blues scale. That worked for him but compared to the others who are more flashy & technical, he was left behind in the race.

One of Riotīs best. Pure melodic metal, no speed shit, or Rockīn Roll stuff a la "Fire down under".

Another good album by Riot with Rhett. They should have done a live album after this release.

Yeah very good album indeed with rocky songs all over......Riot has been like some kind of "Metal Institution" and a very inspiring band to many but still somehow not really well taken in America (or so i think)..Japan and somehow Europe have been perhaps more aware of this act that the same band that was "Born In America"..anyway talkin' about matters,"Born In America" is a very good song,it should have been an stronger number but for that comes "You Burn In Me" this one rocks!,"Wings Of Fire" is an explosive one,"Running From The Law" is a highlight,"Devil Woman" is a cool track with catchy choruses, another highlight,"Vigilante Killer" & "Heavy Metal Machine" are far the best songs of the album ,"Gunfighter" is a piece of catchy metal, really good and "Promised Land" ends in a perfect way..very ...Rhett Forrester as we all know was killed in an attempted carjacking back in 1994...surely he was a great singer and very missed in the bizz......the album?.88/100

Another good album that I didn't appreciate enough at the time of release due to my disappointment of Guy Speranza not being in the band anymore. There are some good hard rocking tracks like "Gunfighter", "Born in America", & "Heavy metal machine". Melody is also around on "You burn in me" & "Running from the law".
