I love this new album. Only two songs sound like RAINBOW, the rest is different, more melodic hard rock and 80s heavy metal. Very good album in my opinion and a must buy for any RIOT/MELODIC HARD ROCK/HEAVY METAL fan.

Not as good as the previous pugnacious platter imo. Comes on like a pulvarizing punch to the puss and then seems to fizzle out like a dry fart. Still ok..7/10

An absolute BOMB! Might very well be their best album featuring Mike DiMeo, in strong competition with "Inishmore" and "Nightbreaker" of course. Stunning vocals and guitarplaying....recommended!

Strong album. Not as good as Fire Down Under which is their best but probably the best with Dimeo on vocals.

Great album indeed!!!...packed with great melodies.Mike Dimeo's voice sound sometimes with hints of Mr David Coverdale (Whitesnake). The great thing about Riot is that in one album they can deliver excellent Heavy Metal sound ("Thundersteel")and in others like this one, solid Hard Rock/Melodic Metal."Army Of One","It All Falls Down","One More Alibi" are great songs but the rest of the album stand alone by itself pretty well.90/100

When this came out it took a while for this to grow on me but now it's my favorite Dimeo era Riot cd. I reach for this one as often as I reach for Fire Down Under, Narita, Thundersteel and Restless Breed.

Really great vocals on this. Plus good solid songwriting. Really reminds me of 80's Black Sabbath with Tony Martin on vocals. I really like this! They don't sound "old" or like a band that is tired of making music. Really sounds fresh and inspired. Really glad to see good rock being put out nowadays!!

I'd like this album a helluva lot more if it weren't for the overused double kick drums stampeding over everything. Mike Dimeo sounds good on the vox, the guitars drive in that classic Riot way (thank you, Mark Reale, and RIP), and some nice harmonies provide a refreshing touch of sweetening -- but just when you think you're in store for a cool hard rock song with some great melodic elements, those kickers trample it all down like a rhino on daisies. That may be alright for an up-tempo blazer or two (like the opening title track), but after that leave the full-throttle bottom-beating to the Speed Metal demons. Of course, No Riot can measure up to the almighty "Fire Down Under," but this COULD have been in the vicinity. Too bad some tasteless choices let it fall short. Stick with the classic old stuff. 65 / 100.

Very good release once again for RIOT with a more polished production without changing their sound ,still between heavyand hard forms !the musicianship is excellent and the songwriting ok with songs like "helpin hand","it all falls down" and "still alive"!RIOT never disapoint
