Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

While the band's badass name makes you expect something heavier with a more metallic edge, this is some really good modern hard rock that doesn't make you want to suck on a gun barrel after listening to it. The band really doesn't do anything revolutionary, content to just stick to the tried-and-true formula for American commercial rock radio success: good production, thick guitars, catchy hooks, and cool choruses. The songs vary smoothly between Bon Jovi-esque midtempo tunes, Nickelback-ish rockers, Kid Rock-like foot-stompers, and Hinder-styled ballads. Nothing that's going to put your jaw on the floor in an "oh my God!" moment, but definitely good enough to get your blood pumping. |

If you like catchy hard rock with a good modern production then this will fit the bell. My initial thoughts were this is a cross between Wig Wam & latter day Gotthard, although while this is very good it's not in the same class as those two exceptional bands. It is a high standard throughout with no obvious fillers & "Bleeding", "Not your enemy"(which isn't listed on here), "Fire in your eyes" & "The last goodbye" are a cut above the rest. Pleasantly surprised by this & will definitely get their next release. |
