If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Shotgun Revolution CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Shotgun Revolution are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

While the band's badass name makes you expect something heavier with a more metallic edge, this is some really good modern hard rock that doesn't make you want to suck on a gun barrel after listening to it. The band really doesn't do anything revolutionary, content to just stick to the tried-and-true formula for American commercial rock radio success: good production, thick guitars, catchy hooks, and cool choruses. The songs vary smoothly between Bon Jovi-esque midtempo tunes, Nickelback-ish rockers, Kid Rock-like foot-stompers, and Hinder-styled ballads. Nothing that's going to put your jaw on the floor in an "oh my God!" moment, but definitely good enough to get your blood pumping.

If you like catchy hard rock with a good modern production then this will fit the bell. My initial thoughts were this is a cross between Wig Wam & latter day Gotthard, although while this is very good it's not in the same class as those two exceptional bands. It is a high standard throughout with no obvious fillers & "Bleeding", "Not your enemy"(which isn't listed on here), "Fire in your eyes" & "The last goodbye" are a cut above the rest. Pleasantly surprised by this & will definitely get their next release.
