Not as good as s/t but a few really good songs like the title track, "Lay Me Down" and "Love Takes No Prisoners".

So-so pop album from Marilyn. Best tracks are the Madonna co-penned starter "Possessive Love" (It was also the promo video tune), The title track "This is Serious" (ACE!), "Quiet Desperation" and "The Wait Is Over". Could have used more punch and good melodies.
