Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

If you notice that a particular Queen CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Queen are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

I want it all - rocks, the rest of the cd is good but the songs are too flamboyant to be considered classics. |

Queen at last gets back to their harder rock roots a little bit on this release. Worth it for "I Want It All" alone. First album where you get the hint through the lyrics that everything might not be a-ok in Freddie Mercury's world (i.e. "Was It All Worth It"). A huge step back on the path after the "A Kind Of Magic" letdown. Freddie's voice is just so smooth and great on this disc it's ridiculous man. |

For the first time the band does not give individual writing credits, but I think it is easy to tell who wrote what. "I Want It All" and "Was It All Worth It" are the only hard rock tunes on here and they are the best tracks. "Breakthru" is a very good pop song, but the rest is either band dance rock ("Invisible Man") or pedestrian pop tunes ("Scandal"). 5/10 |

Great album from the legends. Some rockers on this one. |
