Until Room V, Shadow Gallery released a CD every 3 years since 1992. So when it took an extra year for this one to come out, I knew it would be something extra special. Sure enough, I was proven right. This is a great CD, the only kind that SG seem capable of making. For fans of catchy choruses (like "Mystery", "Crystaline Dream" etc.), look no further than the awesome "Andromeda Strain". For dramatic progressive metal, play this whole CD start to finish. A masterpiece that works on many levels. |

being a proggy person as well as an aor person, this is my fav Shadow Gallery yet, I think the band is fantastic and this is a strong one, not in my top of the year, but not too far behind, Torn sounds like a mix of Zebra and Styx as well as Vow. Rain is a masterpiece as well. There are several fast killer instrumental parts on this album that blow me away, only problem to me is the album as a whole is a bit disjointed but overall, some great tunes on this!!! |

man, three days with this one and in my top 5, this is killer, took a while to grow, it seems to be a concept thing, so there r several short songs and about 7 long ones around the 7-10 min mark which threw me off a bit in the start of listening to this album. The whole thing works as a whole and is divided in 2 sections, the second section is absolutely an amazing masterpiece and this is definitely my fav prog metal release this year. Neal Morse is in 2nd and Riverside in 3rd for pmetal!!! |

Phenomenal release. "Room V" just kicks my a** every time I listen to it. This is a concept piece, continuing the story where "Tyranny" left off. "Andromeda Strain", "Room V" and "The Archer Of Ben Salem" are powerful. "Rain" and "Comfort Me" are ballads of the nth degree. On a whole this is a must own for fans of melodic rock with a prog twist. |
