Less prog.than Dream, but there are much more emotions in the songs, with lot of piano/keys. The string arrangement on the last title played by synth sounds a bit weird, but when you hear, you got to play it again and again- i mean i do so. 1 album/3 years, but worth to wait... |

Mike Baker has a distinct vocal style that is immediately recognizable. The band knows few rivals in the technical dept. And they can write memorable choruses!! "Crystaline Dream" interfaces commercial Queensryche style with Dream Theater prog. Factor in some cutting edge keyboards and production, and this band is one of the best on the scene. (Certainly, the hot spot on the Magna Carta roster.) If you want to get into this band, I would definitely recommend this CD as your first purchase! |

WOW! - great follow-up to their debut - Baker's voice is incredible on this DISC - the band is amazing on the follow-up. The songs have alot of emotion and you feel it through Baker's voice. Great musicianship. |

DE LO MEJOR QUE HA DADO EL ROCK PROGRESIVO EN SU HISTORIA. ALBUM ABSOLUTAMENTE INCREIBLE, DESDE LAS MELODIAS, SU VOCALISTA SUBLIME, LOS CLIMAS, LA PRODUCCION. SENCILAMENTE ACOJONANTE. INDISPENSABLE PARA AQUELLOS QUE AMAN LA MUSICA POR SI MISMA. A LA ALTURA DE DREAM THEATER, E INCLUSO SUPERIOR A FALLING INTO INFINITY . ESPERO QUE RETOMEN ESE NIVEL PROXIMAMENTE YA QUE EN EL DISCO POSTERIOR NO FUERON TAN ORIGINALES. DESDE ARGENTINA carro_martin@yahoo.com.ar pd: ESPERO COMENTARIOS... |

Unfortunately the debut it's the only orig.cd I do have,a pity because I am hearing again this one on cassette and this is a really great band made of talent's musichanship,it's necessarry to completing the discography!Maybe too much piano usin'for my tastes but some melodick line is fantastic...9/10! |
From: Rycheage | Date: February 24, 2008 at 10:09 |
The only thing missing is production with some substance to it. It's too tinny. They should re-issue it with better production. Other than that its flawless. |
From: hair metal again | Date: September 30, 2010 at 1:30 |
2nd step from SHADOW GALLERY and surely not as good as their debut.the production is better, the skill is obvious but the songwriting is average.no big hooks,no clever melodic lines,no remarkable ideas.don t get me wrong this is a good release ,but i expected more after listening to their first one |
