A GREAT AMERICAN BAND. A VERY UNDER RATED GROUP WITH FIRST CLASS SONG QUALITYS. OUTSTANDING ALL AROUND. A MUST HAVE IN ANYONES COLLECTION. THEY HAVE A SORT OF BON JOVI SOUND BUT EVEN BETTER.

From: koogles Date: January 2, 2002 at 15:03
I'm with Dragonfly. These guys changed their name to Guild of Ages and haven't been the same. C.I.T.A. is picture-perfect summertime AOR ('Endless Summer') and the harmonies are out of this world! Lavish production also helps. If you like Sunshine Jive, Teer or Shotgun Symphony's debut, GET THIS CD NOW! Highly recommended!

From: Rycheage Date: February 28, 2002 at 23:18
Very underrated. It's too bad they couldn't take this sound with them to the new Guild Of Ages. This stuff is awesome. 'Cold Sweat' and 'Endless Summer' are my faves. It's worth getting.

From: Paolo Date: May 25, 2002 at 8:33
How is possible to consider Cold sweat and endless summer the best songs of this record!cold sweat is a Thin Lizzy cover and has nothing to do with the band's style(in fact is the bonus track),endless summer is just an average song if compared to masterpieces like Far behind, the title-track,Say a prayer and I'll cry no more(really amazing the refrain sung by danny and the chorus alternating the lyrics!)Bon Jovi has sold millions of recors, but these guys from Colorado are 100 times better!!!

From: JOURNEY Date: July 27, 2002 at 6:42
I AGREE WITH PAOLO!!! C.I.T.A. ARE BETTER TO BON JOVI!!! GREAT!!!!!

From: 9 CHAMPIONS A 1 Date: July 28, 2002 at 11:55
Igual que el anterior, todos los temas muy similares,de nivel bastante aceptable pero se me hacen muy pesados.

From: Great Dane Date: October 2, 2003 at 16:45
Just got this one......What a load of melodic crap. Its easy to hear that this band can play, but then again, thats NOT enough. Write a good song, and play some interesting music. Usually on a hard rock cd, there are some riffs.......NOT on this one. The only time they come close to a cool riff is on the Thin Lizzy cover. Cold Sweat...and they totally screw that one up. Easy to hear why Lizzy was the Gods.

From: Robert Date: October 3, 2003 at 11:39
Buen grupo, pero para mi humilde entender, le falta la chispa, magia, feeling, la garra d los grandes grupos d A.O.R. Bonitos temas!!

From: Grim wulf Date: October 11, 2003 at 16:41
Great underrated band. Just recently discovered them, and i wonder where the hell they've been hiding. One of melodic rocks best hidden secrets!! Sound like a rockin journey!!!! Great for background music.Crank it up and get to work!!!!

From: TYNO / BRAZIL Date: December 5, 2003 at 13:29
EXCELLENT FOLLOW UP TO THEIR DEBUT. YOU WILL REGRET OF NOT HAVING ONE OF THE BEST ALBUNS IN YOUR COLLECTION IF YOU DON'T BUY THIS CD. 10/10 .

From: Rick G Date: February 23, 2004 at 12:11
THIS GOES OUT TO GREAT DANE! YOU ARE AN IDIOT YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT, THIS BAND ROCKS!!!! obviously u never had a bicycle when you were a child. go back to listening to your HIP-HOP ya dork..... I speak for everyone!!

From: Melodiker Date: March 27, 2004 at 11:07
Same quality as the first CD ! A REAL AOR MONSTER ! With every listening I love this one more and more !!!

From: Rockhead Date: March 27, 2004 at 12:49
I have to agree with Melodica-this and the other CITA albums are excellent pieces of melodic rock. The first Guild Of Ages Cd rocks also (CITA after Change of Name-for anyone that don't know)

From: Geoff Date: June 25, 2004 at 3:42
I can't say I've felt compelled to make note of another person's opinion in my views of albums on this site thus far, but I must say I cannot see what Great Dane is talking about. Obviously the wrong CD arrived in the mail because this one is superb, close to perfect. No good songs? No Good riffs? No interesting music? Poor deaf bastard. Sorry mate, but whether it's my opinion or not, this is an excellent album - brilliant riff heavy melodic hard rock with great songs.

From: TIM (2) Date: June 25, 2004 at 8:41
Agree with Geoff, killer melodic rock. Is not particularly heavy but the awesome production seems to sharpen up the guitar sound. Opener 'Far Behind' is such a killer way to open up an album, and the poppy 'Living 4 Somebody Else', are my faves. Would rather have had another self-penned tune than the Thin Lizzy track, but 9/10 easy for this.

From: Date: October 20, 2004 at 15:56
i thought you guys are ggod

From: Paolo Date: October 21, 2004 at 17:29
i agree with all the people who exalt this record....it's not the first time that I read a completely wrong review by Great Dane, maybe he's not a fan of melodic hard rock,so go write in your favorite music site no???

From: Dave Date: October 23, 2004 at 5:29
After seeing the last post on this album i thought 'shit,i think i might have this album so i went and checked and there it was and i had not played it for years and after reading the posts i thought i better give it another go cause the posts are very favourable. After listening to it, now i know why i had not played it for ages and that its because it is very average and does sweet F-A for me and now its back in the rack. 5/10

From: Melodic_Rocker Date: November 23, 2004 at 5:35
Im surprised about the low rating.Damn this album is excellent!!!!! One of the best melodic albums ever!Great vocals/guitars/heavy riffs. From the beginning till the end this album rocks.BUY IT! if you like this album you will love the first album too and C.I.T.A under the new name : Guild of ages (9.5/10)

From: Wotty Date: February 8, 2005 at 15:32
Double superb album !!!

From: Geoff Date: March 6, 2005 at 5:30
I've already commented on this disc above - it's as sensational as the day it was recorded - very near to perfect, but you really have to wonder about the fuckwits who bother making the rating above so low. There's plenty of CDs you understand why they are rated low, but ones like this you just know that generally people don't think that low of it (6/10). I shouldn't let it bother me, but it worries me how pathetic some people let loose on this world are. Killer melodic hard rock disc, IMO.

From: Date: March 6, 2005 at 5:47
Geoff.. GIVE IT A REST. Commenting on every single comment is GETTING BORING.

From: Geoff Date: March 6, 2005 at 19:51
You'd have a very good point there, anonymous person... especially if there was any degree of accuracy to your statement. As this is a place where people give their opinions on music I sometimes have a different opinion and, keeping in the spirit of the point of these comments, I like to offer my thoughts too - to give another opinion. The only other time I reply to comments is if a dipshit makes a comment purely for my reply. You didn't comment on this disc, so guess which one I'm doing now.

From: z4roxx Date: March 7, 2005 at 9:59
This is my C.I.T.A.fave disc because the debut is a great slab of melodick rock but when I listen some prog parts...uuuhhhhmmmm I don't like prog since many years!!So this one is great aor and their best ever,IMO.

From: Joe Date: April 13, 2005 at 9:05
To any and all fans of CITA. the band has reformed with original members of CITA under the name RELAPSED and has signed a deal with MTM music to release a new album, due out sometime late 2005. Check out the MTM web site for further details.

From: metalmaniac777 Date: February 8, 2006 at 14:22
Better than the debut, but only by a little, and since they're nearly identical in sound and style, it's sort of the melodic hard rock equivalent of choosing Pepsi or Coke--very similar tastes, so it all comes down to personal preference. The hooks just stick a little bit better on this CD, the songs a bit more memorable. Of course, the hooks are still huge, the choruses still soar, and the harmony vox are large, lush, & layered, so any melodic harder would have to be nuts not to own this one.

From: Metalmusicman Date: January 3, 2007 at 15:30
Much like the stellar debut, this one is no different in the fact that, if you like Bon Jovi you will love this band as they are cut from the very same musical mold. If you own 3 or more Bon Jovi albums, then you owe it to yourself to have at least one CITA album because they sound one and the same, but CITA just might be better. The production is surely better as it is just stellar. 'Find My Way' may very well be the ballad of the decade even though it does drag at the end a bit. So recomended!

From: juan carlos Date: December 13, 2008 at 0:03
I have their two releases, do Not confuse with the other CITA band(sorry ferstyx). Both are Good Melodic Rock albums but this one is slightly better than their album debut IMO. There´s no magic or feeling but it´s a solid MR album. Good chorus that reminds me of Nelson and Danny´s voice reminds me of Bon Jovi at times. I agree with Rycheage(Once again? hehe) "Cold Sweat"(Thin Lizzy cover obviously) and "Endless Summer" are the Highlights. 8.5/10

From: rick kerch vzla Date: December 19, 2010 at 17:59
A great piece of jewel!!!..what i like about this album is the mix of power & smoothness..wonderful balanced combination..a very round album IMHO..."Far Behind" is a good example of what i'm saying,"Heat Of Emotion" brilliant song,"Life Goes On","Endless Summer","Livin' 4 Somebody Else","Fly Angel Fly" & "Say A Prayer" undoubtebly are top notch songs!!!,"Can't We Make It" AOR mayhem ,"Find My Way" is my personal fave,a very good mid tempo and "Cold Sweat" a decent cover of one of Thin Lizzy's best songs...get this an enjoy the ride!!!.92/100

From: happy2849 Date: January 21, 2011 at 14:50
Their 2nd release under this name and a tad better (not by much)then their 1st.
