If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Shooting Star CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Shooting Star are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Spoken from CLASSIC stuff ! Can it any better than this ? ! Listen to the brilliant 'Last Chance' , an epic song and also to 'Flesh And Blood' and 'You've Got What I Need', all masterpieces ! What a band ! So underrated, but so damn GOOD ! ESSENTIAL, like all their records !

Agreed! 'Last Chance' may be the best rock song ever recorded. I know that is bold, but the song IS THAT GOOD. Also highlights here include the terminal rocker "Breakout" and maybe their heaviest song "Hang on For Your Life", as well as "Hollywood' and "Flesh and Blood'. If you like bands like Triumph and that genre, you had best pick this up immediately.

Good place to start if you're new to the band. BUT, this compilation makes a critical blunder by omitting material from the band's best AOR moment: 1985's "Silent Scream". "Summer Sun", "Don't Walk Away" and "When You're Young" added to this CD would make it complete.

actually i think their second "best of" album is a better way start if you don`t know the band....couple of tunes from "silent scream" + some more resent stuff....

GREAT CLASSIC ROCK BAND FROM KANSAS CITY. YOU WON,T BE DISAPPOINTED WITH ANYTHING FROM THEIR FIRST TO THEIR FIFTH ALBUM. GREAT MELODIC ROCK THAT WILL LIVE THROUGH YOUR SOUL FOREVER. TOTALLY UNDERRATED BAND WITH GREAT TALENT ALL THE WAY THROUGH. EVEN ALBUMS SIX THROUGH NINE WERE PRETTY GOOD WITH DIFFERENT SINGERS,MUSICIANS. DEFINETLY ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE BANDS.
