The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Shooting Star CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Tras años de ausencia volvieron, pero su musica no tiene nada que ver con lo que hacian antes, aqui se meten a hacer Hard Rock del que despues de escucharlo te quedas igual.Recomiendo el silent scream(1985),puro AOR ochenta.

Good guitar sound from McLain. Worth a listen, but not their best work.

The album as a whole doesn't leave you with the feeling of "wow , i have to play it again" but it is an ok album. The best way i can describe the sound is that it sounds like the band Idle Cure a lot without the high-end punch on the vocals.

pulled this one out again and i get a Foreigner meets Honeymoon Suite meets a little Nelson. I still think it is an ok cd. if you find it cheap it does have some really good songs to be worth $3

Whilst this has by no way blown me apart and made me thankful for owning ears, I will say it is a good release. Harmless, nicely played melodic rock. Good, but not great.

Feel good rock is what I call this from Shooting star. As Geoff said, harmless and in good favor. This is an upbeat, have fun record. Put this one on and crack a few beers and let your week disappear into the night. This is a Friday night album and should be used to ease the stress. Have fun! Recommended!!

without a doubt their best record.i am very surprised by the comments of geoff.this records is a jewel.no fillers only greats songs.very good production super singer only hits.perfect !!!!!i recommand the reissue by renaissance records (beautiful french name) cause the bonus track is an atomic bomb.

Yeah guys!!!...undoubtebly one of their best albums!!!...killer tracks all over...fave ones for me are the rocking opening "It's Not Over" along with "Believe In Me","Dancing On The Edge","Blame It On The Night" & "Get Excited"(another good rocking track)...97/100

Like some of the previous comments, a good CD but not quite as good as ones with Gary West and Charles Waltz. Their departures show on this one.

From: 123charpenay Date: September 2, 2014 at 13:34
i confirm my first comment."it s not over" is their best record without any doubt.before they played a dull a o r with a bad production and a poor sound.

From: fdr Date: August 31, 2020 at 13:48
Very good album, polished and perfectly written/arranged/played AOR, even though it's lacking the personality of previous releases: sometimes reminds me of Strangeways more than early Shooting Star. This is not necessarily a bad thing. So, if you're looking for more magic in the vein of the first three albums you'll be maybe disappointed but, on its own merits, this album still holds up very strongly.

Very good album, very underrated in my opinion. The best tracks here are: "It's Not Over" along with "Believe In Me","Dancing On The Edge", "Get Excited" and the great ballad "We Can't Wait Forever". Maybe this album needs more tracks like the above to get best score. 87/100 in my opinion
