Another good solid recording, but not as good as the band's first two releases. Still has some really good tunes on it and is quite enjoyable. |

This release was much lighter than the first two releases. However "Do you feel aright" rocks! "Heartache is one of their best ballads. Solid recording nontheless. |

I like the opener "Are you ready" also. "Where you Gonna Run" is a nice tune off this one, sung by the violinist, and even enjoyed some radio airplay. This was Gary West's last one, if I am not mistaken. I gave up on them after this release. Gary's vocals helped define their sound. |

Actually Pete Gary West did two more after this release including their best.....Silent Scream. You gave up too early. |
From: Doug | Date: February 4, 2004 at 15:44 |
Mike, I agree. Silent Scream in my opinion is their best album. Too bad they couldn't catch a break. |

You really gave up if you do not have It's Not Over in your collection. That release is excellent!!! |

Playing this one again today, in 2014..."Are You Ready" is just a slammin' hard 80's track! Love it. The rest of this release isn't very strong, but the above is by far the highlight - and there's a couple others that make this one definitely worth having. I heard a few tracks off of the later albums, which I still don't own as they seem a bit too keyboard-laden for me. "Hang On For Your Life" is still their best in my opinion. |

Man, I hate the band photo above. Sooooo.....not who this band was. Original lineup was awesome. |

Decent release IMHO...tracks 1(a good rocking song),2(nice),4,5(the best cut for me),9 & 10(nice)are in my book...a band that has been always considered "second rate" in AOR music,shamely...70/100 |

ANOTHER SOLID ALBUM FROM THIS GREAT KANSAS CITY BAND. BAND LIVES ON FOREVER WITH ME. ALWAYS GREAT MELODIES WITH POSITIVE MINDED SONG WRITING AND COMPOSING. |
