If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Shooting Star CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Shooting Star are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

This one leans more toward a pop sound, but still has some good tunes. "Straight Ahead" and "Train Rolls On" are super.

This is the hardest release to find from this band. "Straight Ahead", "Winner", and "Go For It" are the most liked but "Taken Enough" is my favorite from this release. Continues the Shooting Star AOR dominance.

'Burning' is a good album with some nice cuts including "Straight Ahead", the first single and "Train Rolls On" with one of Gary Westís better vocal performances and a song that ends just way too soon. Not sure about the cover of "Reach Out (Iíll Be There)" as itís difficult to improve on the flawless original, but it works. This album wonít knock your socks off on first listen, but it is a grower.

After the fabulous debut, I was disappointed with the following ' Hang On For Your Life' & 'III Wishes' releases, make that VERY disappointed. This restored my faith in the band immediately the opening salvos of 'Preview/Straight Ahead' came flying out of the speakers. This still remains one of my fave SS moments from all their albums. The rest is constantly good aswell making this one of the stronger albums in their catologue.
