Lou Gramm the lead singer from the legendary band Foreigner does some outstanding solo work on this record..the song "Just Between You and Me" is a classic..great tune..great record!!!

Lou Gramm is the greatest singer I´ve ever heard, a´nd the songs I´ll Come Running and Hanging On My Hip are the best on this CD.

Excellent album, great songs. I enjoy the first half of the CD more than the last. Should have been a Gold record!

From: Andre Tekken Date: December 10, 2002 at 15:05
It`s pretty much fun to see how one thing leads to another. The songwritting on this record is damm familiar with, which would become his next record,Foreigner`s last album"Mr.Moonlight".A bit more melodic and accecible than the solo debut.Like always, his voice is still impecable!Remarkable tunes:"Angel With a Dirty Face","True Blue Love"which should had became a FM hit,"Just Between you and Me".Comparing this one with the debut, this one is more easy to listen and accomplish.Good effort 80/10

what makes this album stand out is the great force of the drumming behind the vocals

The only that I like on this album is "Just between you and Me". I think that song is a classic.

From: Rycheage Date: September 17, 2004 at 23:03
This is a smooth but spotty album. The production is way too tinny and lacks the warmth and crispness of Foreigner albums and Lou's debut solo record. "Just Between You And Me" and "True Blue Love" are the gems of this album. Not as consistent as the debut, but not a failure either.

From: Geoff Date: September 19, 2004 at 2:33
The first two songs are absolutely outstanding. 'Angel with a dirty face' is top class melodic rock, and the next track, 'Just between you and me' is a sentimental gem. Unfortunately, the rest is crap, IMO. Great first 2 track though.

From: Axe Machine Date: November 21, 2004 at 7:22
Top CD....worth buying for the first 2 songs alone

From: rick kerch Date: January 24, 2005 at 14:32
This album is a lot better than the first one.Now i wonder that is time for him to release a new "chapter" and for sure it will be much better than the stuff he's doing with Foreigner.

From: ROBERT Date: February 7, 2006 at 13:19

From: Lovedrive Date: February 23, 2006 at 3:04
Just between you and me, Angel with a dirty face, Warmest rising Sun...

From: juan carlos Date: December 15, 2006 at 23:20
Para mí bajan el disco la 5,6 y 10 pero "Warmest Rising Sun" "Day One" y ese temazo llamado "I'll Know When It's Over" levantan nuevamente este discazo. 9/10. Saludos.

This is perhaps my all time favourite cd. This cd is very sentimental and romantic. Marley3 already mentioned what it is that makes this cd so great. The sound of the drums are so clear, and combined with the voice of Lou Gramm we have a 10/10 album. The first solo effort is good, but not half as good as this one.

From: kipvanpearcy Date: September 11, 2007 at 20:31
A few great songs on this one, especially "Angel with a dirty face". Other highlights are "True blue love", "Just between you and me".

From: lalorock Date: November 1, 2007 at 15:17
Gran Abum con esa voz de terciopelo,Just between you and me y True blue love (temazos llenos de magia y feeling)quien más sino el gran Lou Gramm, una de las voces del AOR,Hangin´on my hip podía haber estado en el Inside Information de su banda Foreigner por su atmósfera en las melodías, otras perlas son Broken Dreams,Warmest Rising sun,I´ll Know when its over,y pensar que lo tenía olvidado en una cinta vieja,y ahora que lo tengo en cd hace las delicias de mis oídos,9/10.

From: juan carlos Date: January 3, 2008 at 18:51

From: Wachen Date: May 17, 2010 at 12:28
This is one hell of an album, especially the openers "Angel with a dirty face" and "Just between you and me". But the whole album is great as a whole.

From: BDrums1971 Date: May 23, 2011 at 0:33
I really think Lou Gramm may be the best vocalist ever in rock. What a voice!!! He can go from passionate ballads to screaming rock with ease. He has so much feeling in his voice. And the songs are so good. Listening to I'll Know When It's Over right now and just LOVE it. Great guitar by Dann Huff as well! Some of the best music ever recorded/sung/produced. What a shame there is not good music...no GREAT music like this nowadays. Thanks Lou for all the fantastic vocals over the years!!

A great commercial side to Lou Gramm and it works really well. The opener has great vocals, lyrics and guitars with a super catchy chorus that sticks in my mind. The second one is decent semi-ballad. Broken Dreams is another winner that showcases Gramm's vocal prowess. I'll Come Running has a great riff and again, super vocals as does Hangin' On My Hip. Of the rest, Day One is a decent melodic track and When It's Over is a super ballad with Gramm's passionate vocals. Lovely stuff.
