The best since On A Storytellers Night and maybe the best ever. And that means by any band - not just Magnum. Utterly, completely devastating.

Excellent new album, a big improvement on' Breath Of Life'. The opening title track is one of the best they have written in a long time, and the rest ain't bad either. Production is not bad - quite raw sounding in places, but sounds good on the whole. Bob Catley hasn't sounded better in years. Excellent .

I've fallen over the precipice. Brand New Morning is Magnum's finest moment. And that, my melody loving friends, means that Brand New Morning is the finest melodic rock album of all time. I'm not joking. Buy it or weep... actually, if you're anything like me you'll probably end up weeping anyway. Music shouldn't be this good. No - this album is not 'perfect' (perfection doesn't exist this side of heaven) but the melody on offer here is the sweetest & most powerful this life can offer. Essential.

Another new album that suffers due to sound quality. I do like the songs better than those on "Breath of Life", but the keys get lost in the mix and overall it sounds flat. It's growing on me, and I love the title track and "The Scarecrow", but it's not quite as good as I'd expected after the above comments (but to be fair, with Magnum I'm always expecting another "Wings of Heaven" or "Sleepwalking" so am getting used to disappointment). I'll stick with it for a while...

Puede que no sea el mejor album de de este gran grupo, pero está para mi gusto entre los tres mejores (detrás de Wings of Heaven y Goodnight LA). Canciones con una atmósfera mágica y la voz de Bob sensacional como siempre.

This breaks no new ground with Magnum. Very clear and crisp production with some nice lush keyboards. Bob Catley is in rare form on this one. I just love his vocals. Excellent release as always.

Now we're talking! This should be a comeback album from Magnum, not Breath of life. Altough BOL has its moments, BNM is far superior. "Brand new morning", "We All Run" "The Last Goodbye" & "Immigrant Son" are the gems here! Quite heavy (compared to other Magnum albums) and raw produced, I can even hear a few Led Zeppelin influences on "immigrant son". 9/10

"Its time to come together" is one hell of a perfect melodic rock song.

Not all songs can hit my attention "its time to come togehter" definitv not. "Immigrant son" is brilliant, the opener is very strong and "we all run" but in my opinion 50% are just fillers.

Very very good album. their best in years(since VIGILANTE in my opinion). Songs like BRAND NEW MORNING, WE ALL RUN(my fave) or THE LAST GOODBYE are classic already. ANY MAGNUM FAN or/and any melodic hard rock fan from the 80s will like this album. A REAL BUY OR DIE RELEASE.
