'waiting for a sign' is a mid tempo song that is good when you have to do some gardening or something...i prefer their later material... But nice anyway Good vocalist

It's hard to pick their best release as this and the debut are outright gems. The third is standard AOR an IMO not comparable to the first two, but this might be my pick. If you love a heavy sound with very melodic mid-tempo rock tracks you're in for a treat. 'Once in my life' is a stunning opener and 'Closer to the heart', 'Holdin back the time', 'Waiting for a sign', 'Stay in motion' and the beautiful closer, 'Harder every day' are all just essential parts of what is an excellent album.

This German band may have "hot" in their name, but they'll be cool with anyone who enjoys midtempo melodic rock with catchy hooks, slick production, and memorable songs. Kind of Bonfire-lite, meaning the guitars aren't quite as heavy as Bonfire, but the group's approach to melodic rock is similar. All in all, it's another classy release out of Germany, and any fan of that European sound & style should appreciate what's offered here. Go ahead and buy this CD...it might very well make your day.

Produced by Bobby Altvater. Who this year produced and co-wrote Sam Alex with Pieces. Listen to Stay in motion of this album and then Sam Alex's album and you can hear his hand. That said. Excellent production indeed.

Mas heavy y a puros medio-tiempos transcurre este CD, que si bien EMO no es tan bueno como el primero, tiene lo suyo. STAY IN MOTION, WAITING FOR ... y ONCE IN MY LIFE las que mas me gustan.

Saludos y mil Gracias Campeon!!!

This is my first Hotwire album...bought it after listening to the song "Save Me" which at the end i consider is the best song of the record...i thought this album was gonna blown me away with rocking AORing tracks but more than that is quite a relaxed album with more softies and mid tempos rather than strong cuts but still it is pleasant to the ears ...other highlights apart from "Save Me" are "No Words"(nice acoustic guitar instrumental intro),"Once In My Life","Holdin' Back The Time","Waitin' For A Sign"( ) & "Stay In Motion"...gonna buy very soon the band's debut to see how that is...this one?...fine,just fine...86/100

very good 2nd step for HOTWIRE and i m glad they continue in the same path of commercial hard rock music, with many mid tempos and a "light "sound!many good songs like "save me","closer to the heart" and "waitin for a sign" and overall they remind me of the Bonfire releases of the 90 s !enjoyable release!
