| Yep...this on is one of my all time favorite Cd's in my collection!! Awesome band...also check out the band TKO which included some members of Q5.

| The song STEEL THE LIGHT is one of the best melodic heavy metal songs ever. Lissen to it and you will get crazy with the tipical 80s pounding melodies.

| Had their two albums when they first came out. Just aquired both on CD. Two examples of the best that Hard Rock has to offer. Must have CD's for any rock collection!!!

| If 'Pull the Trigger' doesn't get you going then you don't know anything about metal. An incredible effort from a completely overlooked band. INcidentally, Jonathan K and Rick Pierce have continued rocking--see 'Nightshade'!! (2 albums)

| "Steel The Light" is one of the best metal albums ever recorded, never mind your comparisons to other 80's metal, these guys can really hook you with with their riffs and melodies, this is true art in music, Don't get me wrong, there was a lot of great metal in the 80's that can never be surpassed or even approached in quality with the stuff you hear in the US today.I was 15 yrs. old in '86 when I bought the cassette 'n was totally blown away,still have it and you should get the CD Immediately!!

| I bought this album as an LP in 1985 in Norway.Pull The Trigger just blow me away,been a fan since.There is only one tune who can match this.¨BURNING with ACCEPT.So if you dont have any of this tremendous tunes,shame on you.Run to you´r local record shop and get you`r masterpiece of metall.

| This is so good, and so underrated it's sad. Production's a little thin, sounds a little dated but it's still kickin' some ass. Remonds me a little of Victory in some ways although Victory's production is way better. Anybody know if this is the same Floyd Rose as the floating bridge system of the same name? Just curious....

| The Judas Priest comparison is understandable. This really does remind me of the great Screaming For Vengeance with "Ain't No Way To Treat A Lady" as their "You Got Another Thing Coming". And their "Electric Eye"? maybe their "Pull The Trigger". The guys above mentioning this tune are not wrong, this can really pump your blood.

| Hard Rock heaven! This one kicks off uneventfully, but once Steel The Light, Pull The Trigger and Ain't No Way To Treat A Lady have kicked in, you know your money was well spent. Comes across as something like Motley Crue meets Legs Diamond at times, and is an enoyable listen, much like their more AOR orientated follow up record 'When The Mirror Cracks'. This band never got the credit they deserve and are now largely forgotten but to a few. Nevertheless...this one comes highly recommended!

Been reading raves about this band in magazines and online for years but never heard them before... was lucky enough to find an MP3 of the song "Pull The Trigger" available for download and I was hooked! The song rocked, now I'm gonna have to track down some CDs... sounds to me like "Steel The Light" is the favorite around here, hope it's not TOO hard to find...

| Really good 80's metal. Some songs on this album is just incredible...there are some not so good efforts too though, IMO. Still, "Lonely Lady" and the title track are awesome and worth the album price alone.

| When i first listened to this album back in the 80's i was completely amazed by the furiousity of the songs(straight forward HM).Good classic release.Enough said.

| Worth it alone for the song "Steel The Light"..Good band...coulda done some great things had they stayed with the Heavier stuff... but they went south with their next release...too bad cause they had the chops and talent to do so much more...

| Steel the Light is a great song indeed. But the rest is not very impressive. I like the second album, but it´s more AOR. They did much more under the label NIGHTSHADE. Check ou the album "men of iron".

| Gran Hard´n´Heavy, seguro que no es de lo mejor la producción pero para la época está aceptable. Buen inicio en "Missing In Action" con una voz a lo David Coverdale, "Lonely Lady" con esa melodía Maideniana total Buenísima, "Steel The Light" con ese riff clásico del Heavy, "Pull The Trigger" me recordó a Accept y a AC/DC, "Ain´t No Way.." con ese inicio a lo AC/DC total... La lenta "Come and Gone"(quizas mi favorita)Gran Solo.. Diferente al WtMC y mejor IMO aunque diferentes en estilo. 8.8/10

Essential Melodic Metal album...i owned this on vinyl,bought it when it came out in '85(Music For Nations)...from tracks 1 to 5 is what made this album a classic one IMO...90/100

| explosive hard rock debut for Q5 back in the mid 80s with an extremely raw,guitar driven hard rock sound !the riffs are excellent and there s alot of energy in the songs which are quite catchy!"lonely lady","steel the light:,"pull the trigger" and "ain tno way to treat a lady" are the highlights!essential
