I've always been a fan of this album!!!..since i bought back in the 80's when it came out (vinyl format)...is a great pleasure to have it here posted at the mighty Heavy Harmonies site...excellent tracks such as "Savin' The Best For You" (this is my fave one off the release),"Breakaway","You Better Watch Your Step" & "Steal The Night Away" just to mention some but honestly the whole album kills!!!..this is AOR with slightly hints of Westcoast here and there...a must have!.90/100 |

I preferred the slightly tougher debut 'Use It Or Lose It' (or 'Head On Rock 'n' Roll' as it was called in the UK) over this one, but there is no denying this is a very good slice of AOR. A couple of weaker tracks later on, but generally good, solid songs throughout and nice to see the 2 additional bonus tracks that weren't on the original vinyl LP aswell. Whichever you prefer, it's great to finally see both the Michael Furlong discs on CD, as they are both very fine and very underrated albums, worthy of your attention. |

Yeah Jez,the debut is stronger than this release...this one is more mellow and relaxed but it has some enthusiastic moments aswell...very pleasant to have this here posted 4 sure my friend...cheers!!! |
