Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Dan Reed CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from Dan Reed are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Not the Network, but just a Dan Reed solo acoustic show from March this year. You either like laid back acoustic stuff or you don't, so this is an easy choice when thinking about getting this one or not - DRN collectors will probably want to add this to their collection and it is well worth the effort in my opinion. I kinda like it and the stripped down versions of the Network songs sound good (a good song is a good song as the saying goes). My fave ever DRN track 'Salt Of Joy'is present on the well chosen set list and remains my favourite here along with the fantastic 'Stronger Than Steel' and 'Long Way To Go' being the other highlights. So, A no frills disc (it even comes in a card sleeve with a simple pic of Dan and his Geeter on the cover), straight forward live acoustic album that will definitely get an odd spin now and again. |
