Already to be found on eBay for CD Single prices, this is a contract-fulfilling album that serves little other purpose. The covers are so close to the originals it just has no longevity. The material choice is the good, the bad, & the ugly. The first 5 tracks are all pretty good (the BLONDIE tune actually works VERY well), but tracks 7, 8 & 12 are awful beyond belief. Buy it cheap, spin it once or twice in anticipation of any new studio release, but it will then be quickly forgotten. 5/10.

Spot on TIM (2) - Good for the first 5 tracks then goes completely downhill, until 'Don't Believe A Word' and 'Stay With Me' which pick things up again (slightly). Odd tracks might get the occassional spin, but the whols disc definately won't. If it's a contract album then ok, But please get on an release an all new DL Album and not in 6 years time!!!!

Disappointed? Yeah, you bet. It's pathetic that fans have had to wait another 4 years for an album. And what do we get? Well, considering it's a bunch of songs that the band particularly like is admirable. What is unacceptable is the fact that a tribute album could have been recorded overnight & released the next day. Moreover, some bands are remembered for the classics they have covered & made them their own. I'm fairly certain Def Leppard has not accomplished that here.

I seem to recall a particular version of "No Matter What" from Lillian Axe "Poetic Justice" album that absolutely smokes this watered down half-ass rendition.

This release sucks big time! The boys have really lowered them selves with this release. It takes no talent to put out an entire CD of covers by other groups. Total waste of time & money!!

What a shit of album. I and the fans of the band wanted a new album with new songs, not cover. Why? It's very pathetic. By Italy

Agree! CD is indeed sort of forgettable. And yes, Lillian Axe's version of "No Matter What" is WAY better! Only track that I do like is Thin Lizzy's "Don't Believe a Word," but only because its a rockin' tune.

I suspect that urine would taste better than how this album sounds. I love DL, have enjoyed all their albums after the debut... but this is shit, no other way of putting it. Why a band would fill an album full of shit not even on par with their own weakest original tracks is just beyond me. A complete waste of everybody's time. I hope they forget this mistake and create a great new album... I'd weep if this was how they ended their career.

Its a crying shame that shit like this is being put out on the market whilst other bands are struggling for a contract. I was blown away back in the day with the Hysteria album. One of my all time favorite albums overall. But that a band of that magnitude can sink so low is pathetic. I am done with them. 1/10

Garbage - covers big whip - a cop out from a class band. Invest in the time in new material as oppose to covers. Nothing new here.

Very disappointed in this cd. I listened to it once and wouldn't be upset if someone used it as a coaster.

Of course this is disappointing but the boys did what they wanted to do. Still, if you listen to it 3 or 4 times it get better but the first time i listen to it, i didnt realy like it. Now i do, some songs more then other songs to be honest, but not bad at all. Nice to read about each song in the cd booklet, that is realy great. For that you will have to buy the cd motherfuukers.

Saludos. Diego (mundorock@gmail.com).

Ok, I am a DL fanatic all the way, and I know a lot of people have had a hard time absorbing this album. Yes, it is a cover's album, however, I think this is an interesting release for the band. WHY. If you really want to know who DL are, and where they got their inspiration from this will tell you. It will take many listens, to get used to it - however if you listen real close you can hear the riffs, licks & styles they "borrowed" from their idols (British rock mainly)throughout their career. B

Wow this is an almost complete waste of the listener's time and fan's money. The only 2 tracks I enjoyed just a little were "Hanging On The Telephone" which does work quite well and "No Matter What". I know the Lillian Axe version smokes this one but I like it anyway. As for the rest, buy it cheap, put the best track(s) on your MP3 player and use the disc as a nice looking coaster.

I'd rather gouge my eardrums out with a rusty butterknife than be forced to listen to this musical abomination again. I'd rather be stripped naked, slathered in barbecue sauce, and tossed into a pit of starving cannibals than hear this travesty spew like vomit from my speakers ever again. Yeah, this sucks every bit as badly as you've heard.

Acceptable cover album but not all the covers are really exciting IMHO...why?? you might ask and the answer is simple...they added in some of them that "modern touch" in sound that somehow weaken the essence of the songs(some songs as i said)...the best or more sincere ones are the ones of T-Rex,David Essex,Blondie,Sweet,Mott The Hoople,Thin Lizzy( ) & Faces...a matter of tastes i guess but just that, acceptable nothing more...75/100
