Very interesting album of covers!..a mixed salad of classic songs from the 80's..songs that ranges from Heavy Metal,Hard Rock,New Wave & Pop that made history through the golden age of music..definetely a big tribute to that excellent decade..a crazy mix of hits!.85/100

Unfortunately I'm not as excited about this one as many people seem to be. The simple fact of the matter is that I already have proper, better versions of all the good songs here. I don't need to hear two good songs combined together in some almost infant-like mixture. This is harmless background music, but I can't see me ever playing this as my main point of focus in my stereo. Loud & Clear are an excellent band and I'd have sold skin from around my balls for a new Loud & Clear album rather than this waste of time.

A concept of covers, what's the meaning? Please someone explain me what it that...?Every song change 5 times with a mix of past covers.Senseless disc(and band). All respect to Jess Harnell but this one is awful

Great album. Great concept. Is it a work of art? No. Is it fun music? Yes. I'd rather listen to fun music than works of art.

'80s pop rock mashed together with '80s hard rock & metal? On paper, it sounds about as appealing as pouring two cups of sugar on a freshly-grilled filet mignon, but in reality it actually sounds pretty cool and results in a fun, harmless listen. That said, now that Jess Harnell has his "reimaginings" out of his system, it would be much appreciated if he would release a new Loud & Clear album.

This album is so much damn fun it's sick. Anyone who considers it merely a collection of covers just doesn't get it. These are all extremely clever and inventive mash-ups of many keystone songs from various genres spanning the last several decades, all performed with an attitude and competence that makes them impossible to disregard as mere pretentious novelty. Had they been thrown together by a band with far less ability and imagination it could have resulted in a silly mess. But the fact that they attack every facet with an earnestness (while winking behind our backs the whole time) and NAIL every aspect makes for a shitload of enjoyment. Listening to how they weave the various elements (combining disparate acts like AC/DC, Madonna, Bon Jovi, 'Til Tuesday, etc) into the finished products makes for a terrific time -- and they all ROCK too. One album's worth is sufficient, any more would soon become tiresome shtick. But this collection is one I rely on to put smile on my face. 95 / 100
