Yeah guys!!!...good rocking album by Slash(he performed live in Venezuela last year and i saw him,he put such a great show!)..in here he is still accompanied by the very skilled vocalisy Myles Kennedy...best shots for me are "Standing In The Sun","You're A Lie","Halo","Anastasia","Bad Rain","Hard & Fast","Shots Fired" & "Crazy Life"(great!)...recommended...86/100

I approached this album with caution as while initially I wasnt blown away with the first album, it did grow on me, but for the most part, it was the Kennedy songs that didnt gel with me. Starlight was the only one of his songs that I enjoyed, and the bonus GNR covers were awful. I still preordered this one, and got it on day of release, but didnt spin it for a few days. I have to say after finally listening to it, I felt so let down. The vocals are horrible, with Kennedy seemingly trying to be a Axl copyist on many of the tracks, and failing badly. I know Slash was a big part of GNR, but why on Earth does he not try to distance himself from that band on this solo album? Kennedy doesnt normally sound like this, so why has he gone this route? I am sure many on here will disagree with this as Kennedy seems to be loved by many for some reason, but nothing he has done has truly excited me.

If Slash never released another CD, I certainly wouldn't slit my wrists, but it's always nice to hear new music from the iconic guitarist. Despite Myles Kennedy's attempts to ruin some cool riffage with his overrated vocals--he really does seem like he's trying to channel Axl here, and not doing a very good job of it--this is easily the best of Slash's solo efforts. Absolutely love the song "Shots Fired," but there are plenty of other good tunes as well.

ok release by SLASH and this is a mix of classic and modern hard rock sound that is not my best ,but overall is acceptable!Myles vocs are excellent and the songs are pretty good ,but there seem to lack something!"anastasia","no more heroes" and "not for me " are the highlights!

Great album from a great Guitar player. Maybe 1-2 fillers but we have 15 tracks for enjoy. I guess this is the real Slash's singer for Velvet Revolver. IMO Standing in the sun at a first bite I didnt like because too Immigran song, but after many play I can say it's one of my favs with You're a liar, Anastacia, Apocalyptic and the best song Crazy life. I love Slash!

I agree with “CC” on this one. Myles is generally a good singer but on this one he does indeed sound a lot like a certain Axl Rose. Overall, the album is just okay for me.

I too do agree with CC, not very impressed by the songs, neither by shlash and surely not by Miles. Don't get me wrong it´s not bad it's just that I expected more from the whole thing. Maybe it's because I overrate Slash, Guns ´n Roses and Appetite for destruction...I don't know 70/100

Carolina kicks ass. This is why you always try to get the bonus songs!
