| Mars Cofán comenzó su carrera musical en 1984, en la banda Alto Voltaje, junto a Yulie Ruth, Gabriel Carambula, Ricky Griego Alonso y Walter Curri. En 1987 armó su primera banda, Street, dnde se presentaron en gran parte del circuito under de capital federal y Bs. As. Publicaron dos demos con un total de 11 temas que hoy forma parte de una produccion llamada Street 8+3, el cual incluye un track interactivo con fotos, letras biografías y clips. Luego de hacer una pausa con Street formo parte de la banda Alcoholica (ex-Montana) donde grabaron un cd en Mexico. Además de la actividad de la banda se presentaba como Mars Attack, haciendo covers de Kiss en sus versiones acusticas y electricas. De los cuales hay circulando 2 cd con cerca de 15 covers de Kiss, tambien en versiones acusticos y electricos.
