If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Funhouse CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Funhouse are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

"Rock N' Roses" and "Christine In Chains" and other live numbers, are so overdubbed, It's a wounder the band didn't just record them in the studio and save the money they spent on fake applause that sounds like a laugh track. It's a good thing that "Funhouse" has the coolest T-shirts in town.I did like "The Preacher (Down In The Hole)"7 out of 10.

They did have some alright tunes, but it wasn't a masterpiece by far. Unless you are a die-hard glam fanatic, you'd better avoid this one.

one great fuckin disc. a band before its time

From: abdullah Date: December 23, 2002 at 21:17
I love this CD as well, though the fake crowd applause is so pathetic. I think these guys tried jumping on a bunch of different styles rather than just sticking with straight-up glam... I hear Jane's Addiction and RHCP in their sound. They were probably just searching for an identity as I have fliers for them from '86 and they look identical to GNR whereas on this CD they look more like Liquid Jesus.

Is this one singing by female ROCKER?

From: tomcat Date: November 2, 2003 at 6:55
they do sound like a mix between the crue and the red hot chilli peppers..very cool disc, dangerous toys had the same mascot, that's rigth. Funhouse is still around, chekk out their mp3.com site.. one more time for love, tomcat

There's a totally forgettable band out there called Kingmaker, and what the other one with an album called 'Far-king great'? I (fortunately) forget, but all three of these bands are in the same league. A league of dog shit. Absolutely bin-worthy and forgettable hard rock. High un-recommended.

From: TIM Date: March 15, 2005 at 23:28
I agree Geoff. Those are some flaming POS's. I think perhaps the Nymphs, 7th Stranger, and Slippery Lip are about the worst I've ever heard.

From: metalord Date: January 31, 2010 at 18:39
not heard from these guys ever since, but their music was ahead of it's time.cool skate punk hard rock!!
