Rosanna Palmer is an excellent song writer. An accomplished guitar player. And has one of the strongest singing voices in the music buisiness. Calling Down the Fire is a disc loaded with power. Crying in the Night is a strong emotional appeal to the abusers of children that the pain and hate they build in children at times unbearable. Love th Lord Your God, strong. Hell on Earth, what can the devil do for you? Crazy World, "No one has the time to reach out to a brother." Power says it all.

I dont have this album but i have CALLING DOWN FIRE from 1988. I like that album a lot. Great white metal.

This album is not as heavy as the first, CDF, but they still conserved melodic feeling. the vocal of rosanna Palmer remind the times Geddy Lee (with more aggressiveness) if you like Barnabas and Trytan you will like Rosnna's Raiders.

This a album where the music is very good but it lacks the production it should have to be excellent. It is light metal for sure but the musicianship is excellent. As was with many of the early CCM bands they did not have the access to good producers and it shows on this album. If the production was better I would probably rate this an 80+ but with poor production I am only able to realistically give it a 70/100.
