Nothing special under the sun here. Decent scandi hardrock, no less, no more !

Only the rhythm section remained from the fabulous first album, they replaced Sandberg with journeyman Goran Edman, and replaced the AOR with run-of-the-mill hard rock. It's still pretty good stuff and the standard of songwriting higher than most in the genre. Fans of Aces High, Swedish Erotica etc will probably prefer this to "Smoke & Mirrors", but I certainly don't. And the bonus tracks are truly awful. 7/10.

Un muy interesante disco. Influenciado por distintos estilos, conserva el sonido escandinavo propio de los proyectos de Goran Edman, pero con toques claros de otros estilos dentro del rock que lo convierten en un disco muy por encima de la media.

In this one there’s Goran’s masterpiece:bad vocals of all times!I think King Diamond,Ozzy Osbourne,Mannerheim’s singer and Celtic Frost’s singer are better(oh my God,How can a band like Celtic Frost sounds like a cult??Mysteries of music guys…)

Nice one if we forget the 3 bonus tracks that DONT help the album at all ! Someday your gonna Love, Need a little Help, Pretty little small town Girl are good rock songs and the songs Not a day without You, She made me Fall and Take a Look at Yourself are superb melodic rock songs. 7,5/10

From: rbrigade Date: July 19, 2010 at 11:05
why's the sound so awful? it's like a cheap demo. And the songs are really strange...More funk/pomp than AOR. Weird!

This second album with Goran Edman on vocals(he has been involved with many famous musicians and bands, you know who they are )...the album starts with some fine melodic hard rock songs with some little sparks of AOR here and there and it ends with a more edgy feel in the songs...my faves are "Someday You Are Gonna Love Someone","Life On Mars?"(nice),"Need A Little Help","Not A Day Without You","She Made Me Fall" & "White Noise Boogie"...83/100

excellent release for SNAKE CHARMER ,a Swedish all star band offering smooth commercial rock music !the musicianship is exceptional, the songwriting very good and the sound is fresh with those intense backing vocals and many hooks!"not a day without you",'miracle man" ,"need a little help" and "free floating" are fine songs indeed
