Slick production makes this one a joy to listen to--it sounds dynamite. Not classic UFO but cool '80's type melodic-metal songs. 'This Time' is the high point. Good musicians-saw this version of the band and they kicked some serious ass.

Excellent and colourful project from Mogg and his men. Their 1985-86 UK tour was bloody great. Excellent work from Atomik Tommy here-Schenker isn't missed! Quite above average.

Excellent production-one of the best mixed works of the 1980's. Good catchy songs and super harmony vocals. Another underground classic.

Definitely the best UFO album in the production sense. Here's another one full of good material that could have sold millions because it's just as good as Bon Jovi, Night Ranger, or anybody else who had big sellers that year. Tommy's guitar work on this one smoked!

Mogg reformed the band and cranked out some great catchy tunes on this one. The production is really good, sounds very high-budget. 'This Time' got a decent amount of radio play but still this album didn't take off as it could have. Great score on this one overall.

Another overlooked one here. Some really good tunes like 'This Time' and 'Night Run' make this one fun to listen to. Production is OUTSTANDING. The drums attack you in the face and the guitar sound is killer. One of the best undderated albums of the 1980's.

UFO always featured top notch guitarists, and Tommy was yet another hot player. This work is highly ignored for other UFO material; Mogg and Raymond led these chaps to a nice level on this one. Very good songs, enjoyable lyrics, excellent production. Recommended!

It's not 'classic' UFO, but it's still pretty darn enjoyable. Check it out and you'll agree.

I've read a lot of: Not a 'CLASSIC' U.F.O. which means that they don't sound like the U.F.O. of old? Anyway, like the comments above, the production here is excellent. And the songs... not that loud but VERY enjoyable. The guitarist is no Schenker but not a slouch either. Overall, this is worth having.

Good album. Love some of the lyrics - really well crafted. 'I can hear the Mardi-Gra from the hotel window, don`t seem so far'. BTW - my girlfriend recently pointed out that the model on the front cover is possibly a MAN!!!Look at the models hands and arms! I grew up thinking she was fairly striking and attractive!Ahhh!

Yeah, she's got some pretty hairy forearms there, but I still think it is a woman. In the live DVD that's out from this tour, there is a woman made up to look like the cover model dancing topless onstage . The one in the concert is definitely a woman.

Atomic Tommy hat echt nen atomgeilen Guitar-Vibe. Zaubert unglaublich intensive Stimmungen mit seinem Vibrato. Wahnsinns-Produktion, Hammer-Tracks mit charismatisch-ergreifenden Moods. MIN-E-DRUMZ-Milan Long Live RockīnīRoll

UFO shifts their song here going to more of a keyboard rock band with flashy guitar solos. This is a lot lighter than previous albums and is more of an AOR style. While it does not work on every track, songs like 'Heaven's Gate' and 'Night Run' are among their best. 6/10

Hi folks, I played guitar on this album, thanks for the kind reviews! It seems like a lifetime ago when this was recorded. i just happened upon this site and you folks are pretty knowledgeable about rock. Yup,Wotty I'm still kickin' and you can find me in SoulMotor, and various projects.. You all had me in stitches talkin about the 'girl' on the album cover!I always accepted that she was female! Now you got me wondering. And Phil Mogg wrote and STILL does write some of the best lyrics in rock.

A comeback, and WHAT A COMEBACK! My slight disappointment was short lived once this baby hit the stands. Shreds.

It's not a bad album but for UFO it's definately a step backward. Mr Moggs lyrics are occassionally more cliched than his usual output (singing about 'Heart of Stone' and naff stuff). But all power to him soldiering on keeping the UFO name going. There are some GREAT performances on here but it just doesn't quite gel properly for me. A good AOR album but UFO were never AOR. Blue and Night Run are the standouts IMHO. The keyboard washes on This Time almost remind me of Giuffria ! 7/10

A heavyweight album in the melodic sense. UFO were out of this world with a sheen, slick production on this one. Somehow, the huge polished sound is captivating especially 'This Time' & 'Night Run'. Some memorable tunes, but hardly essential overall.

Atomic Tommy M could be like Randy Rhoads if this album was promoted fine, sold well and the band did not quit(again).Just listen to the solo of 'Heavens Gate',I'm sure you can agree me.He joined Soul Motor formed by ex-Tesla member in late 90's and did one nice album.

Listening to this one again ...great album indeed...UFO flirted with AOR pretty good some time ago and this is an example...try these tracks "This Time","Night Run","Only Roses"(nice),"Mean Streets"(nice) & "Dream The Dream" surely you'll love them as much as i did ...92/100

Lost in the shuffle is the fact that this was originally intended to be a Phil Mogg solo release. It didn't work out that way because the record label felt that it would sell better under the UFO banner. That might explain why it's a bit different from the classic UFO sound. This was supposed to be Phil stepping out on his own to do HIS thing. With that said, I'll take it. I still listen to it quite often.

love this band, saw them live about 10 times. Yes, here we have a very special line up. But this release is a killer, apart from their Strangers In The Night my favourite UFO release. Every song is next to perfect. Ultracatchy, memorable chorusses, all songs stick in your ear from the first playing on. Listen to One Heart - doesnīt get much better for any aor/melodic-hr lover. Sadly this year will mark the end of this fantastic band. Will see them live once more in july; happy about that.
