Phil Mogg's voice was great on this one. It's not a very well-known recording but has some good material on it. 'Rock and a Hard Place' is a great song.

From: Jennifer Date: April 24, 2001 at 11:53
'Between a Rock and a Hard Place' rocks!

From: Wayne Date: April 26, 2001 at 12:14
Good songs recorded during breaks from the 'Misdemeanor' tour. Was released as a mini-LP and didn't get any attention at all. 'Between A Rock And A Hard Place' is an excellent tune. Above average.

From: Scott Date: April 30, 2001 at 13:13
got this one for 2 bucks and its good!

From: Melinda Date: May 5, 2001 at 11:46
Pretty good stuff, above average. 'Between A Rock And A Hard Place' and 'At War With The World' are the best cuts.

From: Frank Turner Date: May 11, 2001 at 13:39
A few good songs on this one but nothing really outstanding. Still, better than average.

From: RockDude Date: May 20, 2001 at 14:39
Two really good songs but the rest are mediocre. Average all the way.

From: Kobyashi Date: June 2, 2001 at 12:01
Dissapointing overall, but does feature 'Between A Rock And A Hard Place,' which is a really good song.

From: Gar Date: August 2, 2002 at 16:05
It seems they were trying to update their style with this one. Came out at a time when Hard Rock music was commercially successful, but this one got no attention at all. Too bad, because these songs are good. 'Between a Rock and a Hard Place' could have been a hit.

From: Beevuss Date: September 16, 2002 at 20:40
It has some good stuff, but if you've never heard it, you haven't really missed much.l

From: Desslar Date: September 19, 2002 at 12:20
Generic in the extreme, but fun enough.

From: b casarin MEX Date: September 29, 2002 at 22:53
las canciones que sobraron del excelente misdemeanor? pienso que si.

From: vicrock Date: November 8, 2003 at 21:53
La producción de la edición mexicana es malísima, no se si así salió en todos lados. E s una lástima porque contiene canciones muy pegajosas, realmente me gusta.

From: Big Papa K Date: June 30, 2004 at 12:21
Continues the style of the last album, but a little heavier. The songwriting is a little dumbed down, but nothing too cringe worthy. Enjoyable, but not essential. 6/10

From: Propane Date: December 1, 2004 at 19:30
This was another weak one in the song writing department. At this time I was wondering if MTV was having a negative influence on these guys. Pressure to be more pop friendly and all the bullshit that was going around at the time. Looking back, I think they were just getting low on creative steam and still put out a worthy album nevertheless.

excellent release by the great hard rockers U F O in the late 80s.simple,straight ,smooth hard rocking songs with a very feel good vibe, still fresh i guess.i would like though to see more songs in it in order to be a more satisfying release.my favs are"another saturday night","at war with the world" and "hunger in the night".great era!
