Heavy AOR, even melodic hardrock if you ask me, is what the very talented mr.Beauvoir has to offer with his band ! As with most of the Crown Of Thorns material, this is good ! |

One of their weakest albums this, it just misses the real killer material of the debut and "Karma" for me. "Heaven Tonight" is an absolute monster track though, and is virtually worth the entry price alone. 6/10. |

I agree with you Tim. Some excellent songs on here "Heaven Tonight" and "Runaway" but this is a weak album by their standards. I just hate the into to "Bird on a Wire" why is Bugs Bunny doing the talking on it? Anyone else noticed that following a classic COT album follows a duffer? |

Their weakest and only bad release.A lot of good bands seem to have this problem....{Put out one shocker that is !} |
From: Geoff | Date: March 8, 2005 at 6:17 |
I actually thought this was a heap of shit. 'Heaven tonight' is a very good track, but the rest has me completely baffled. What the f*ck is this stuff? COT is a very good band, but they did put out some nonsense, and this is a prime example. Get their others, but avoid this, IMO. |

"missionary remedy", "end of the century" , are very good songs..maybe not the best crown of thorns cd but definately a very good album.. |

A little different in direction, but still has the melodies that makes CofT such a great band. "Birds On A Wire", "Buried Alive" (sounds like voodoo x to me),"End Of The Century", "Heaven Tonight" and "Runaway" r the best songs. Not a shocker, bu I wouldn't want to see them go this direction again. |

Agree with Geoff and others here, forgettable cd.An album can't be good for 2 decent songs.... |
From: aorluver | Date: October 28, 2008 at 13:56 |
a very good record . I just don't understand people praising "Lost Cathedral" and kicking and spitting at this one. I can't see any basic differance- both are outstanding , but Destination contains Lonely is the rose -my favorite song in their entire catalog- and that's why I'd pick this one as better. |
