The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Crown of Thorns CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Amazing release from this very underated hard rock band! 3 cd's which cover their whole career, with all the best songs from each album they have released. If you have never heard this band, this is where you should start. It's like a mini box set. Great value as well with just under 50 songs here. I can't think of too many songs that got left off this grand release. I wish they had covered some of the songs Jean wrote for kiss though. Great band, great release, buy now!!!! 10/10....

Dave, I'm with you on this. I had heard good things about COT, but didn't have any CDs, so I took a chance on this set. It smokes-tons of great tunes. Big guitars, great vocals, great sounding music that unfortunately got overwhelmed by the grunge/alternacrap sound. Jean is obviously an amazingly talented individual, and this set is a testament to that. I paid 24 bucks for this, and I think it's a heck of a deal for 3 quality CDs. Wish the lyrics were included, though, if I have one quibble.

Totally agree with what has been said above. CofT can do no wrong. Absolutely UNDERRATED IMO!! Great consistancy all round. Jeans vocals and the musicianship is top notch. If you haven't heard this band..GET IT NOW!! While the Bon Jovi's and Def Leppard's of this world continue to 'live off their name' with mediocre releases, this band SHOULD be HUGE!! Would love to see them in OZ Aussie Dave!!!Am trying to get them here as I speak!! Met Tommy Lafferty last year in the U.S!! Great guy!!

I heard Crown of Thorns are playing in New York on August 27th at CBGBs! http://www.brooklynvegan.com/archives/2005/06/best_thing_abou.html they have not been announced yet.

This is a great band, I have all their albums and a video DVD. If you like melodic hard rock / AOR you will love this band. Why can't more black bands play music like this, maybe they would get fans from a wider music base, sorry to say. I rate this 8/10.
