Its sad to know that when Nicholas Elliott and Daniel Wilder left Paradise,Adam and Matt covered up all accounts of the rythm section by adding 2 hired guns to put their pretty faces on the album cover, that suks...Moxter

Some of you guys might like them, but they're not amoung my favorite bands.

The best Hair/Glam album besides "Cherry Pie" of Warrant. Killer songs and an absolute killer production by Jay Baumgardner. What a shame that the band broke up shortly after the album came out. A must-have for all Hair/Glam Metal fans.

is this the paradise that robbie crane played bass in?

From: MButt Date: March 6, 2003 at 14:36
One of my favorite cd's, completely enjoyed, it, get it if you can!

From: edcrane Date: April 14, 2003 at 23:25
I have to agree with MButt. This is definetely one of the best albums ever, and in my opinion the best Glam/Hair Metal Album of all times. Every song is amazing and the live performance of these guys was better than every other band in this genre. A definite 10 out of 10.

Listening to this one today at work..WOW!I'm really enjoying this one.To compare them to XYZ would be a fair comparison, plus I'd describe the sound here as a "crunchier" Danger Danger...as for comparing them to Dokken, the only thing I pick up on here,is that the guitarist does seem to try to get a "Lynch-ish" sound on some of his solos, other than that,I'm not hearing the Dokken.Nothing overly original here, but this is a disc full of excellent 80s style hard rock with a glam flavor.Reccomended!

"Need a Little Love" is the standout track on this one. Right up there with the best songs of the hair metal genre.

From: metalhead Date: April 3, 2004 at 6:05

'When you're gone' is a beautiful track - amazing ballad. Oh, there's 9 others? Sorry, I never knew. No, that's harsh. These guys are actually pretty good. Pretty standard hard rock but I have to admit it's done very well. Good album, great ballad.

From: z4roxx Date: January 15, 2005 at 22:13
I agree! That's a killer glam band!Very good production, great vox and catchy songwriting.Could comparison could be with Guns'n'Roses(appetite for destruction era)and Warrant's first 2 cd's.I don't see any Dokken influences, too.I think Dokken plays other kind of music, not glam. That's pure glam cd!Nothin'else...Maybe yes,one of the best band in this genre...

From: Chad Date: January 15, 2005 at 22:21
This one is worth tracking down.I don't know if I would label this one glam.More hard rock in the vein of Danger Danger(rougher vocals than Poley but not too rough in comparison to say Tom Kiefer). This one is hard to pinpoint. I really enjoy the album and if you are a fan of the 80's stuff you will like this one! All the songs are enjoyable. Much better than the Canadian Paradise although I do like that album too. Guitar driven, 80's metal is what this one is in a nutshell. Recommended.

From: velez Date: November 23, 2005 at 13:27
dokken?, warrant?, danger danger?, hey are you deaf, this band is booooring, i like the 80's bands, but this one .... 5/10

After last comments I’ve heard again this cd.Killer hard rock/glam band without any doubt.y faves are”Nightmare”and”Ghost town”but the rest is awesome, too.I don’t hear here any D2 elements and sincerely any Warrant arrangements too,Paradise IMO remind me to old Gun’N’Roses, some elements of Wildside,Bon Jovi ecc…

Good american hard rock, not great but they are rockin'.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: October 9, 2011 at 19:22
Good Hard Rock/Glam album(basically Hard Rock)..vocalist pretty typical of the genre(for me it is like a mix of Jon Bon Jovi & Gregg Fulkerson/r.i.p/)..about the songs you have some wild ones in here such as "Nightmares","Fever","Need A Little Love"(soft AORish),"Ghost Town"( ),"I Want More" & "Undercover"...84/100

From: Metal T Date: October 24, 2014 at 21:19
Picked this one up a few years back. One of the lesser known strip' bands.Cool band...definitely an XYZ vibe.Paradise should of gotten signed over alot of the usual overhyped slop that was being sh!t out on the majors but ended up getting a deal in Germany.Nothing too original, but were a solid band for the style.
