If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular The Lou Gramm Band CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from The Lou Gramm Band are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

I had heard a few bad 'Rumours' around this one, but after hearing a couple of tracks decided to take a punt, being a huge Lou Gramm fan that I am. Firstly, his voice is definitely not 'Shot' like some are making it out to be. OK maybe not the soaring vocals of days gone by, but he sounds just fine on most of the tracks one here. Songwise, this starts off pretty strongly with the opening salvo of 'Baptized By Fire' and the excellent 'Made To Be Broken' - nice mid tempo AOR and 2 very nice tracks. Anyone into the Foreigner style thing aren't going to have any problems with these at all (and the whole album in general for that matter). 'So Great' and 'Single Vision' are the two other standout tracks for me, again both mid tempo songs, but both with good choruses.

One of the things I am sure some people will get all hot under the collar about though will be the lyrics on some of these songs, as some have quite a strong Christian message in them, the 2 ballads 'That's The Way God Planned It' and 'You Saved Me' being a prime examples. Both nice songs in their own right, but I am sure they (and some others here) will get slated because of their lyrical stance. This disc does have it's genuine flaws though, as in the few average fillers on here 'Raise Yer Bones' 'Redeemer' and Euro bonus track 'It's Not Too Late' being the worst offenders. Production is very good without being too slickly done and the whole album has a nice mix in general and sounds excellent. This won't win any awards come the years end, and isn't the most exciting thing you are gonna hear all year (or any year for that matter) but it is nevertheless, an enjoyable little disc with some nice tracks on show and Of course Lou's magic voice

First of all i'd like to say that is admirable the way Mr Gramm has copped with his illness...he has showed us that with attitude and courage we can get over our problems (he faced a real scary one!).He has visited my country (Venezuela) in 2 opportunities (with Foreigner and most recently-less than a month-as a solo artist)and presented us this album under the monicker of TLGB,well, now he is more into Rock with some blues feel added 2 it and of course songs such as "So Great" and "Rattle Your Bones" that reminded us the great Foreigner sound.Anyway good album with excellent songs...90/100

I read so many bad bad reviews.so I didn t even give it a listen when it came out.last year I found it at cheap price.and..is a good album, even catchy.very solid AOR songs.well,it could be true that Gramm hasn t anymore THAT voice, but hey he is still better that many singers out there.AOR legend, give the album a chance.
