If you notice that a particular Shake City CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. This is the sort of pop-metal ear-candy (or hair-metal, if you prefer that term) that we all used to shake, rattle, 'n' roll to back in the late 80s heydays. Perfect for rolling down the car windows on those hot summer nights while cruising through the city with the stereo cranked to the max. Some of the hooks on here are more infectious than the swine flu ("Lust or Love" is particularly killer) and will have your girlfriend generously gyrating in no time. Comparisons are a dime a dozen and more subjective than opinions on Obama's presidential skills, but I would describe these guys as a mixture of early Poison and Warrant, which just made some of you throw your hands up in enthusiasm...and made others just throw up...

I'm digging these guys. I hear the early Warrant similarities, which are obvious since Adam Shore is in the band. FYI - there's something out there called "Too Hot' which has this album plus the Hot Wheelz demos on it.

Very raw and powerful sound, melodic but not cheesy. Stylistically I'd compare this to Bon Jovi's "New Jersey" album - minus the keyboards. Best tracks are "Hot Love", "Betty Blue", the great ballad "Little Liane" and the super groove rocker "Bad On Wheels". Great brand of 80s Hard Rock, essential if you like Kix, Cinderella and (even) Bon Jovi...
