Many would disagree (gee, that never happens...), but this is my favorite PC69 release by far. The songwriting just kills on this, just take a listen to 'Fly On' or 'Snap' or 'Fate'. Not much in the way of filler here, just a lot of good solid hard rock with some nice vocal harmonies. In fact I can't imagine anyone not liking this album...unless they're the people stuck in my car with me as I attempt to sing the aforementioned vocal harmonies...

This cd sounds like a cross between Alice In Chains and Soundgarden in most places. Great lyrics and musicianship, but almost grungy in a way. The cover of Queen's We Will Rock You is kind of cool. Tracks 1,5,6,8,9 and 11 are my picks.

I Love the version of we will rock you on this Cd-not much else though

From: rocky Date: April 23, 2004 at 9:30
sorry guys.....cannot agree with you. after listening to 'sonic dynamite, electrified, thunderdome and endangered'i must say tha this one was a huge dissapointment..they have totally destroyed the QUEEN anthem.....don`t buy this .

From: Rockhead Date: April 23, 2004 at 9:34
I thought We Will Rock YOu was the only track on here worth listening to!!

Coudln't tell ya why, but I really just love this CD all the way through...I guess Freddy/Freaky was right about me...

From: Max Date: June 1, 2004 at 2:47
what did freddy SAY about you?

From: AOR freaky Date: June 1, 2004 at 7:55
What I say : that PC 69 is a good band and that most of their albums are worth checking out ! And Blue Charvel is a charmant person, only problem : sometimes (most of the time to be honest) we have a different opinion on most albums (but as you see here, not always !). And then we discuss and why not ? !

Yep, PC69 is one of the few things Freddy and I usually agree on. Great band!

Pink Cream 69 take a stab at being a grunge band here, and it works a little bit. Songs such as "Snap" and "Fate" still maintain ctachy hooks with the more aggresive backing music. 6/10

This is their last bad CD. And actually it's not bad, it's just bad compared to every other awesome gem of an album they made after this. There are quite a few good songs here. Anger is good, Diggin through The Past is good, Better Days is great, Big Shot is solid, but Until I Wake is AWE-SOME. Until I Wake grew on me after more listens, and it's one of my favorite songs now. The end after the solo where the chorus repeats and the vocals overlap is perfect. Great emotion by Readman here. 7.5/10

Glad to see I'm not the only one who doesn't mind this album too. Once again, not traditional PC69 and I'm glad they returned to their roots, but as far as sell-out of the mid-90's went, PC69 did a lot better than most. 'Pass you by' is actually one of my favourite PC69 songs in the entire collection. Overall another good stab at modern hard rock.

Different but great !!!They are one band that had a stab at making an album with what they call "Nu-Metal Sound" and succeeded. After hearing the introduction to "Snap", i thought"Oh No, what the hell have they done", but from there on in ,i thought this is actually shit hot and i know the more i listen to it, it's gonna get even better and better.I, like Reno's comments, did pick up an Alice In Chains sound in a few of the tracks.Highly recommend this even though it's not what you would expect.

From: alex Date: April 4, 2005 at 1:35
weak, disappointing....even coward given the timing. sell out.

From: anamal Date: April 4, 2005 at 15:09
alex..weak, dissapointing, i think not. it was experimental for the band, sure it wasnt their best effort but it had some killer songs ..big shot and my favorite song to this day from the band ..Better days......

From: metalmastermusic Date: July 16, 2008 at 12:01
This one was very disapponting to me . I really like PC69 just not this album and I really wanted to like it. Maybe they were trying soemthing enew but thsi did not do it for my taste. Fortunetly they picked up the rock later on gave us quite a few killler albums. This one is not one you have to own. 65/100

Kind of a drastic change in here that they fortunately mended in the next releases...grunge influenced songs is what you find in Food For Thought ...it has its moments such as "Until I Wake"(far the best IMO),"Big Shot","Diggin' Through The Past","We Will Rock You"(excellent Queen cover i must admit),"Dead Man's Scream" & "Other Side"...far from that,a very forgettable album...David Readman sounding good as usual but with the wrong kind of music...80/100
