its impossible not to like this album specially when you hire two of the best vocalists in the business...glenn hughes & joey tempest,if apart from that youve got the songs and the production to match then im afraid nothing cant go wrong!.this is one hell of an album that you shouldnt avoid at any cost!theres a lot of quality in here.unfortunately i.m.o after this release john norum went downhill all the time.

From: rocking Scott Date: May 24, 2003 at 14:40

ditto to the above comments. glenn and john clicked and this is a great disc. better than his first and another destination. good from top to bottom - highlights would be opium trail and counting on your love. the track list above must be the european version because mine is a totally different order.

From: Geoff Date: August 17, 2004 at 21:01
What a great album this is. Musically as solid as you get, and the songs are great too. Brilliant riffs. Got to say, of the lot my fave is 'Still the night'. Awful lyrics in the pre-chorus, but the guitar that goes with it is just spine chilling. A wonderful song! And the rest are great too, especially 'In your eyes' (Those verses!!!), 'We will be strong' and 'Counting on your love'. Great album!

Que gran disco.Hay que alabar la version de Thin Lizzy "Opium Trail".La voz roza la perfeccion en cuanto a igualdad con la de MR.Lynott.Un gran disco,lo cojas por donde lo cojas.9,5/10

Geoff/KK. if you like"Still the Night" pick up Phenomena`s first self titled album. It has the original version, again, with Glenn singing. One of the best albums of all time, make sure you get the import version instead of the domestic, they clip off Joey Tempests song "We will be strong".

Really great music, guitar playing, guitar sound, overall production, great voices, cool riffs ... well, joey tempest, john norum, glenn hughs !... enough said. Since Norum changed to Les Pauls, his guitar tone improved in great manner. You must have it !

From: AHUEA Date: January 14, 2005 at 10:18
The best John Norum cd!!! grat to hear John and Joey together on a track, also glenn hughes does a great job, no bad song here.

From: MadMax Date: May 20, 2005 at 23:41
This is really a great piece of music! I don't understand why John has to sing himself on the other albums, those are horrific, John is so bad singer.

From: TIM (2) Date: May 22, 2005 at 11:20
This is a good disc. "We Will be Strong" is the highlight by some distance, but there are other excellent songs and some exceptional guitar work. I preferred his first solo album over this, but I remember this album for - if nothing else - it being the last time I ever heard Norum play anything remotely melodic on his guitar. 7/10.

About as good as it gets in the melodic rock genre. Get it & find out firsthand!!!

From: osklenn Date: March 24, 2006 at 14:38
Indiscutible. Su mejor trabajo en el studio, con la colaboración del grande Hughes e los otros músicos. No hay nada mas a hablar sobre este cd. Lo recomiendo a todos los amantes de rock mundial!!!

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: September 30, 2006 at 16:06
Very Good Hard Rock of course, me gusta algo mas el primero pero este tambien es muy bueno y claro no va a serlo con uno de los mejores cantantes de todos los tiempos como Glenn y la version de los miticos Phenomena "Still The Night" es tremendo como el original 8.5/10

From: SangreAzulForever Date: January 7, 2007 at 8:51
It´s a wonderfull release from Europe´s guitarist; nice melodies, good riffs and solos too, but I would especially remark Phenomena´s cover "Still the Night", which I regard as espectacular: more guitar force, another solo and on whole, more powerful. It´s a shame that they decided to take out the keys for that song.8/10.

DISCAZO. IMPRESIONANTE. ¿LE PEDISTE PRESTADA LA LES PAUL CUSTOM NEGRA A JOHN SYKES? PEDAZO DE GUITARRA. YO TENGO SOLO UNA EPIPHONE LES PAUL, LA PEQUEÑA PRIMA HERMANA. BUENO, ES UN DISCO TREMENDO, CON UN JOHN NORUM COMO NUNCA.

From: Figge Date: October 2, 2008 at 5:52
Ooh...seems I haven't commented on this one yet! An ABSOLUTE CLASSIC in the genre. I just love Glenn's vocals here and some songs are among the best hard rock songs recorded during in the 90's.....maybe ever. I'm actually not very fond of the Tempest song though. Excellent sound too, by the way.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: February 11, 2009 at 21:50
Very good hard driven album by the guitar player of Europe.Solid songs overall and no fillers!!!."Still The Night" (with that little spark of AOR),"Face The Truth","We Will Be Strong"(feat Joey Tempest on vocals!),"Distant Voices" (superb!) & "Counting On Your Love" are excellent.85/100

From: titothetitan Date: August 17, 2018 at 9:23
There's no Norum neither Edman singing the songs this time. Instead we got Glenn Hughes, but for me his voice is hard to appreciante. Production is better than the first album, but the songs aren't as good. Letdown.

From: masmusic Date: August 19, 2018 at 13:11
My opinion this is the best solo release Norum has released! and Hughes the "Voice of Rock" is excellent! But each his own I guess! 9/10
