| Good glam edged AOR with the infamous raspy vocals. If you like this style then this CD is for you. Especially can get it cheap on eBay as most don't know of this band.

| Great band they r my fav song from them is "Every day i die " "last act" Slave to love " great songs they have kick ass they r i wish they still alive if u like motley crue or poison u will like these guys cya :=)

| Pretty good above average rock-n-roll album. Kinda a poorer-songwriting Cinderella & less funky Bang tango. Has some of the most god-awful "Oh yeah baby you want me so bad huh little kitty?" lyrics EVER put on cd!! You cringe hearing it. The only band that could get away with that, strictly my opinion, was Kiss because they were SSOO dumb it was brilliant. On this album "Slave To Love" though is just killer. Should have stuck with songwriting like that.

Singer and writer of "Slave to Love" is Marti Frederiksen has been writing songs for Jonny Lang, Ozzie(Dreamer), Def Leppard(Now), Aerosmith(Jaded, , Scorpions, Foreigner, and more. He's also produced Aerosmiths last 2 albums, and has worked on songs for Mick Jagger, Pink, Faith Hill, and many more. He's done pretty well since this album. I think he's making more money than all the previous posters put together!  P.S. We're best friends.

| I forgot to let everyone know that Marc McCoy died a few years ago from cancer. He was able to live long enough to see his daughters 1st birthday. R.I.P. Marc.

| No offense Ed B. but how does making more money than people here negate what they enjoy or don't enjoy??? I don't see anyone ATTACKING any specific band member, I just see people who love this kind of music just giving their opinion. If there's a salary range requirement for digging rock-n-roll I've never seen it. More power to Marti and kudos for his accomplishments but the "Who cares what you think about his art he's rich" comment is bordering on Gene Simmons stupidity talk.

| Tony, it was just a dig to koogles comment about obscurity. I wasn't trying to convey that who cares part. I know a lot of rich musicians who have very little talent, so money doesn't go hand in hand with talent. If you like the final version of "Slave to Love" you should have heard the songs before they mixed Them. They really rocked hard. The record comany watered it down quite a bit for the release version.

| Great explanation Ed B. & my apologies then. Didn't know what you were trying to convey and now it's crystal clear. Obviously these guys had major talent and like most bands of this time period I'm sure it did get watered down and diluted through the whole record company process. I read an article in a old Rip magazine the other day and they come across as great guys who dig playing rock. Kinda a contrast from the "Crue" like imagery of the "party" lyrics.

| as a fan of nearly every genre of rock/metal music i did the old 'i'll buy it coz the cover looks cool'trick like i did back in the 80s and i have to admit it didnt fail me! this is an absolute stormer!! the opener 'tower of love' blew me away and the band come across like upstarts to the aerosmith/shark island throne. check it out you wont be sorry.

| I BOUGHT THIS ONE IN 91 BY MISTAKE. AFTER LISTENING TO IT A FEW TIMES IT GREW ON ME. SOME GOOD SONGS, SOME NOT SO GOOD. I STILL LISTEN TO IT ON OCASSION. I UNDERSTAND THE SINGER DIED, THAT'S TOO BAD. ALLOT OF TALENT.

| Underrated as hell. Several killer songs, and a few with no direction. The singer had some great moments - plenty of power with feeling.

| Even though they were obscure and relatively unknown, I thought Outlaw Blood did a nice job of playing their style of sleazy & bluesy 80s metal (highlighted by the soulful ballad "Every Day I Die"). I don't think they were of Cinderella's caliber but they did a nice job of adding their own style to a genre that was absolutely everywhere by the early 90s. The vocals were there, the guitar work was solid and clean, and there wasn't a really poor song to be found. Rating 7/10.

| Mark McCoy passed away in March 2000. He was one of the pastors of the church I was going to at the time, he had moved to South Africa to do some stuff. While he was there, he came up with Lymphoma, they treated it agressively, and he hung on for about 6 or 7 months. Mark was my friend, I sure miss him, I miss playing music with him, when I first heard Outlaw Blood there was NO way I could tell that the singer was him. His Widow and his son are still hanging in there, please pray for them.

| I co-wrote Sink my teeth, & I'm n Shock with Marti Frederiksen for this record, so its nice to see people are still interested in this band after all this time. I highly recommend this record for every hard rock lovers collection. Marc R.I.P. and Rick H, would love to chat with you again.

| Still not sure what to think of this disc. Every song seems to sound like a different band-First 5 seconds of "Tower of Love" sounds like the first riff in "Shake Me" then it sounds like Bang Tango for the rest of the song. Cool disc just not the most original in the world. Sorry to hear about Marc's passing.

| People, I've very close 2 every cd on this (Great) website & 2 cd's come 2 mind when I think about criticized & under-rated albums. I think of Outlaw Blood's Self Titled album where every songs' awesome!! Everything U could want in a late 80's, early 90's hard rocker, the sentimental ballads & the balls out rockers with a tinge of sleaze. The other cd I think about is Trixter's Hear album, now the harsh comments just bamboozle me! There's no hard rock album that beats the production on that one!

| 'Red hot n'blue' is a cool hard rocker, 'Everyday I die' is a very cool ballad, and overall this is a good solid effort. Nothing here really blows me away, but that said, nothing is appalling. Just a good solid hard rock CD with pretty consistent song quality. Just not a CD that was ever going to make any dent in the scene. Good stuff though, and worth picking up for the cheap price you can find it for.

| Yeah I like this CD. It's a little diamond that's tucked away in my collection and it gets taken out every so often and polished with a little red laser. Tower of Love blasts the speakers across the room it's a great song and the rest of the album is no slouch. Kind of Bang Tango meets Kix meets The Throbs plus a smidgeon of the Cult. Nothing really original but it is great to rock out to! Massive pity about Marc who had a great voice! Rest easy!

| Just got this yesterday, and I don't know if it's the mood I'm in tonight or what, but I'm LOVING this more and more the further it goes on!!! "Body And Soul", "Sink My Teeth", "Soul Revival" are ALL just plain fun!!! LOVE the song "Slave To Love". For ME...this is about an 8.5 out of 10!

| You can buy this hard rocker up for a pittance and it is well worth tracking down. About 6 of the songs on here get played everytime I pick the cd up and that is actually a VERY GOOD percentage of quality songs to fillers.

| About as original as a bandit wearing a mask, but what they do, they do well. The band goes for a Cinderella-meets-Bang Tango kind of vibe and pull it off fairly well, so if that's the sort of thing that gets your blood pumping, you'll be as well-serviced by this CD as a porn star is by a fluffer just before the big shoot. Nothing worth gunning down your grandma to get, but if you pick up a copy you certainly won't feel like you got robbed either. The hair-metal scene was as saturated as a sponge at the bottom of the sea by this point, so these guys had about as much chance at succeeding as a polar bear has at romping through a tropical rainforest.
