excellent come back album - givin' more air play these guys wouldv'e been up there with all the other 80's hard rock legends - 80's rock lives on

From: freddy de keyze Date: March 27, 2003 at 9:54
Indeed, good come back, but still not at their best. Still too many acoustic influences. Good, but nothing special, this record.

From: Fredrik Date: April 1, 2003 at 19:45
No, could be better......

Faltan 2 discos oficiales de estudio, el excelente THE THRILL OF IT ALL y GIVING THE GAME AWAY THUNDER FOREVER!

From: Luc Begas Date: May 18, 2003 at 13:59
It's good to have them back. The album is an excellent addition to an awesome catalogue. Luke Morley remains a great songwriter. A reunion for the right reasons. Recommended for fans and newcomers alike.

Fantastic!! more please and more airplay on radio wanted aswell too much crap from the music factories

From: Rycheage Date: July 28, 2003 at 19:49
The songs remain some of the band's catchiest and most enjoyable in years. The sound is back, the production is excellent and the enjoyment of this album is pure from the opening track to the closer. Welcome back guys!

From: musicfreak Date: July 29, 2003 at 2:48
Indeed Rycheage, your 'new' comment is in fact just another cut'n'paste from Andrew's original review at MelodicRock.com !!! Hey, don't you have actually your own opinion ?

From: Dave Date: August 9, 2003 at 1:01
I am a thunder fan but this album to me was a major let down !!! Nothing on this album would feature on a best of Thunder !!

From: The Bald One Date: August 14, 2003 at 15:55

The more I listen to this (excellent) album, the more it's a serious contender for my favorite rock album of the year. Pure class !

From: FM Date: December 26, 2003 at 23:58
This is without any doubt my favourite album of the year, and I've heard a lot! More than 5 months since I bought this awesome record and still just can't stop listening to it. Great vocals, warm, tasteful guitar-work, lots of feeling and most of all fantastic songs. No filler on this album, every song is different from the other, resulting in a very enjoyable album that you can listen to again and again without getting minimally tired. A 9.5 out of 10. Buy or Die!

Hace muy poco q lo tengo y la verdad no me acaba d convencer... habra q darle mas oportunidades... Feliz año a todos!! Happy New Year!!

From: cosmo Date: January 29, 2004 at 17:44
que hayan vuelto es una buena noticia para los que nos va el Hard/AOR. Pero lo cierto es que no están en su mejor motivo compositivo. Temas normalillos tirando a malos... Qué lejos les queda ya el Laughing on judgement day!!!!

From: Rockhead Date: April 12, 2004 at 17:57
Loser is an excellent song and reminisant of the classic 1st and 2nd albums. Danny Bowes has an excellent voice and these songs are perfectly suited. I like the production also-it gives the songs balls. An excellent comeback-as previously stated by various above me.

From: rocky Date: April 21, 2004 at 6:18
nothin`special about this album, it`s ok but that`s it. don`t know why they are classified as an AOR band,i would say that they are a more blues orientated band, but then again i might be wrong...... anyway----listen to the older cd`s, much better stuff there.

From: unknow Date: April 21, 2004 at 10:06
As good as their debut album ! Great guitars, tongue-in-cheek lyrics and still the awesome voice of Mister Bowes. Buy !!!!!

Thunder are so shit, With there being so many good bands around why waste time listning to shit like this not only is there music second to almost every 80's rock band these guys are also the biggest dorks around just look at them surely they were beaten up at school? Crap band Crap image, Embarrasement to English 80's rock. Plus they are such losers for splitting up making shit solo albums then reforming like 2weeks later and having the nerve to make a big deal out of it i mean what kind of

From: TomStavely Date: November 2, 2005 at 15:40
geeks call an album (They think its all over)a shit heap live record to con they dilluded fans split up and get back together straight after. In case you havnt guessed i HATE Thunder this is because in such a hard compatative market of Rock music this fucking shit band sold records and got radio play where billions of much better bands who piss on Thunder didnt. DO NOT BUY A THUNDER RECORD THERE IS ALWAYS AN ALTERNATIVE. Sorry Thunder but you guys are getting from me but you really really suck

From: CC Date: June 10, 2007 at 10:45
Actually, I think most people think you suck! I know I do!

From: darobinson Date: June 29, 2008 at 19:16
WOW!!! Tom boy above has some issues. Thunder kicks ass. He has a right to his opinion but if you notice he is the only one with that opinion.

From: edwithmj Date: October 18, 2010 at 18:22
A good comeback album. It starts off heavy and then flows smoothly from start to finish. A few funk influences like their third album here.
