If you liked the first two albums, you'll like this one as well. Classic British hard rock with super songs and super singer! My favorite songs are Fly On The Wall, River Of Pain & Castles In The Sand. |

Super cd!!! The first one is rather a good one and the second one is also super!!! Thunder are coming back after so much time and i think that they are going to play again good pure hard rock music. The Hard Rock genre surely nedds them!!! River Of Pain is a superb song along withn Castles In The Sand!!! |

Moth to a Flame is an awesome tune carried on a great riff. Danny's phrasing is also excellent. This was the last of the GREAT Thunder albums, although the comeback was great also |

Wow! What an album. Probably their best record: diverse, mature, sounds great and flows even better! No fillers here, every song is a gem. We get hard rocking songs, funky numbers, soulful ballads: every song has its own personality and is different from the other ones, yet always fitting perfectly in the overall picture. Great guitar playing, and of course awesome vocals by Mr.Danny Bowes. I'd like to pick out some fave ones, but it's really too difficult to choose! Fantastic album. 9.5/10 |

To F.M.What a glowing review, but I disagree about this being their best album. Can you beat the freshness, when released, and brashness of Back Street Symphony... |

Definitely one of their best. Just better than Laughing On Judgement Day with super tracks like the heavy Moth To The Flame, the slightly funk-influenced Fly On The Wall, the super I'll Be Waiting, the blues based River Of Pain and the killer Castles in the Sand. A fine release indeed. |

excellent hard rock release by THUNDER which set them as an important act back in the day!there are no fillers ,Mike Fraser in production does the job in a perfect way and the band seems to enjoy it!"i ll be waiting","stand up","river of pain" and "ball and chain" are great songs indeed and i really enjoyed revisiting my double coloured vinyl edition of it! |
