If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.
The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular High Noon CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.
EPs and CD-singles from High Noon are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

This one is a little patchy, and the first 3 songs are plain fillers, imo. Especially the dreadful 'Rude Boy'. But to get a full and complete picture of the band that was High Noon, they are essential to the collection. Thankfully, 'Don't come runnin' is a great ballad. 'Have my heart' is also excellent, and one of the best on the disc. 'Skatin' On Thin Ice' and 'When the night calls' are also good and 'Just like woman' is decent. There are a few more okay tracks towards the end of the disc, but those 5 are the best on offer here. It's a patchy affair, but again, an nice addition to any fan of "hair metal".

Can't get past the vocals...but it's ok hair metal other than that.

I have to agree with Geoff, there are definitely a few duds here but the majority is really good hair metal.I like the singers voice its kind of raspy in a good way they remind me of Ratt a little. They should gotten a record deal back in the 80's I think they could have been as big as Ratt or any number of bands that did get signed then.

No way this band would've ever been as big as a band like Ratt. The talent was there, but there are very few songs that jump out at you. It's extremely average at best although Jim Zappa's vocals didn't seem to be the problem to me. I got a Jizzy Pearl / Jason McMaster vibe from him that I don't believe hurt the band whatsoever. The music ranged in style from Guns N' Roses, Dangerous Toys & Love/Hate (amongst other modern acts in a negative way), & was by far on a 2nd rate scale. The songs "High Noon", "Bad Moon Risin'", "Have My Heart", "Skatin' On Thin Ice" & "When The Night Calls" are the highlights (with the remainder of the disc being very drab & uneventful).
