The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Free Spirit CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. I really liked the debut 'Pale Sister Of Light', but having given this new one a good few spins over the last few days, the standards have most definitely been raised. On the debut, there were a 2 or 3 fillers to my ears, but this time they have pretty much got it spot on with the every song and all feature some excellent writing throughout. New guitarist Vessa Yli-Maenpaa sounds great, as does Timo Alhi with his tasty keys in the mix throughout and the band in general sounds very good. Production is a notch or 2 up from the debut too, so all in all this is a highly recommended release that offers a lot and should please the majority of people who love this style of Melodic Rock. Hopefully it won't get lost with the more obvious releases coming up this year, as that would be a real shame.

hi friends it s time to wake up.only one comment before me?the first free spirit album is an absolute masterpiece.this second realise like their last album he breathe the class start to the end.maybe they not realise the exploit to be at the same level than their extraordinary debut.nevertheless we speak about a top class a o r record.with free spirit it s simple never a weak song ,never an average song, only killer songs.what pleasure to listen a so smart music.ok this record is a raritie cause only available in finland (carpel records).very hard to find but not impossible.receive it today from my friend sebastian(music buy mail).

to be very complete and very honest ,i can add that the sound of this record is not extraordinary.the production is sometimes muddy.the mixing a little weird.it s incredible that a so talented band don t find a real great producer for giving them the sound they deserve.

I'm with Jez on this. It's an awesome album. I can't understand why it's not in the top 100. It's more traditional AOR than the first one, and in my opinion, surpasses it. "Pale Sister of Light" was a bit of a grower. This one is an instant grabber. "The Dew of the Rose" is probably the highlight. It's an epic AOR anthem with the mother of all choruses, but the rest of them are top notch too.

OMFuckingG!! What did I do here not picking this up when it came out?? didn't really dig the debut, I mean it's an awesome sound, and im delighted this is whats catching on as far as genre within the Rock Sub Genres goes, I'd way rather it be this Melodic Hard Rock, then some other kind of lame shit like maybe wannabe sleaze bands or anything, but the 1st time I heard the song The Dew Of The Rose, my genitals woke up, when FEVER!!! finished, so did I, finished off all over my jeans, what a fucking huge song, huge everything, perhaps up there with the top 5 most phoney synthesized and fake sounding over the top songs ever made, easily going into my 10 of all time, I wish I could hear a song like FEVER every time I hear a new disc, this is a song that ANYONE READING THIS NEEDS!! TO BUY THIS CD FOR, IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, YOUR A FIG, Your a QUIRE, and a big fat HOBO!! BUY IT NOW~~BYE I MEANT BUY!!
