GOOD CD 82/100 TRADITIONNAL 80's MELODIC METAL This album may not be very original and it sound sometimes like old PRETTY MAIDS/DIO/ACCEPT or any 80's EURO METAL band BUT it's very fun and full great hooks and anthemic chorus ! It's more serious than the 1st one ,less caricatural still nostagic but fresh at the same time with less clichés and the ones who are still there are... orgastic ! The prod is huge and the songwriting is top notch with the smart addition of external writers like Erik MARTENSSON from ECLIPSE or Jani LIIMATAINEN ex SONATA ARCTICA A perfect album for Headbanging !

Sounds a lot like the first Leverage album. They produced a first class set of songs this time round with awesome musicianship - check those solos - and some great hooky choruses. Stand outs for me are 'Sinner' and the last 3 tracks all of which are awesome. 'Life' almost bordering on AOR, 'Heaven' being a gem of a ballad and 'That's The Way I am' being the pick of the album with its great rocking intro. Highly recommended for fans of Leverage, Brother Firetribe &/or high quality anthemic euro metal.

Killer return after an average debut. To be honest, I really didn't expect this but this is excellent, in-your-face hard rock, with a nice ballad too. My two favourite songs are the killer hard rocker, 'That's the Way I Am' and the stunning closing ballad, 'Heaven (Is not here)'. But most the songs here are pretty damn good. Recommended.

An exceptional disc and one that is so so much better than the standard Euro metal of 'Learning To Rock'. The kids are rocking on a set of songs that are on a whole different scale in comparison to the debut and I think I pretty much love every track featured. Starts strongly with 'Last Of The Heroes', has a good selecton of strong tracks in the middle, and ends on a real high with 'That's The Way I am', 'Life' and the excellent 'Heaven (Is Not Here)'. One of,if not my fave release of this year so far (the full Euro release was In January '09) and one that I know will be up there with the best of them come December and Top 20 time. Marvellous

Yeah now we are talking ...far but far better than "Learning To Rock" in all aspects(maturity in the songs, the lyrics, the composition and even the vocals of Andre L)...best cuts 4 me are "Last Of The Heroes","The River Runs Dry","Break Away","Alive","That's The Way I Am"(catchy),"Life"(AORish feel)& "Heaven(Is Not Here)"(this one reminds me somehow of Dream Theater musically & vocally talking apart from being my personal fave ) ...good choice 2 pick...86/100

i m always Under the charm of "graduation day" their third effort.a sensational and very varied and mature album.in japan import this cd is a must.so it s time for me to discover their others realise.hum "rock n roll children" is a great but very classic metal record.nothing spectacular ,not really my music.track 4 and 9 are excellent.the very rare japan import is essential cause we have a super class bonus track "fear of the dark" iron maiden cover ?(i m not sure), and an other bonus video track.(break away).but the rest is for fans of metal not for me."graduation day" is far better a champion s league record.all is better the production, the voice of the singer ,the songs ,ect ect ect."rock n roll "children" is a classic decent metal album.
