Aug. 20, 2025: Temporary Message Board ClosureThe company hosting the message board sprung a surprise price hike on me that would have more than tripled the monthly hosting costs, so I've been scrambling to find an alternative. I've purchased a license for self-hosting a different platform and am hiring a consultant to migrate the existing board's content (posts, user profiles, etc.). However, this means I need to shut down the message board for anywhere from 3 days to (hopefully less than) a week so the data can be migrated. While this is an expensive proposition up front, it should result in some long-term savings. The current message board will be closed down at some point this Saturday, August 23. I will post updates here. The main site (where you are reading this), will NOT be affected. -Dan |

Typical stuff, Michael Bormann always is very busy doing music all the time. Good Melodic HR with modern sound. I´ve heard just one time, 8/10 by now.. |

Totally in agreement witn Juan Carlos...melodic hard rock with plenty of this modern sound that everybody's seem to do now (how i miss the 80's!)but still acceptable. The only song that i really enjoyed 100% was the Aor-ish one "When The Nightmares Wake Me Up".Michael Bormann's voice is still top of the line and that helped the album development even though The Trophy could be just a one album project as Bormann appearly is 100% dedicated to his solo career now.85/100 |

OK 79/100 CONTEMPORARY AOR I'm a huge fan of Michael BORMANN ! But i think this release is OK nothing more, why ? Because all the songwriting is based on the extraordinary voice of the exJADED HEART vocalist , yes he could sing the phone book but some songs are too average IMHO to rate it higher ! I prefer HUMAN FORTRESS by far ! |
