This disc and the other two Cher discs that have been added certainly do deserve a place on here without question and excellent AOR albums they are too. There is some Big input from the likes of the Bon Jovi boys, Michael Bolton and Desmond Child, so quality is pretty much guaranteed. There are some very fine songs to be had on here, including the classic 'I Found Someone' (Written of couse by Touch's Mark Mangold and Michael Bolton) 'We All Sleep Alone' and 'Perfection'. A couple of so so ballads maybe, but this is a very impressive album in places (as was the next one 'Heart Of Stone')and, as I said above, there is absolutely no reason why this shouldn't have it's own little place on the HH pages. Some people should maybe not judge a book by it's name and cover and actually listen to it's contents. Just a thought. |

Judging from some of the replies (many of which have been deleted), there are a whole bunch of people reacting to the name "Cher" rather than having actually HEARD the 3 discs that have been added to HH. These 3 discs are quintessential melodic rock. No, we are not adding the rest of her pop discography, but these 3 albums definitely are appropriate for the site. It's no different from Shania Twain's single rock effort, Michael Bolton's early rock material (Blackjack with Bruce Kulick anyone?), or Pantera's early glam-era CDs. Just because other releases from an artist are outside the boundaries of HH does NOT disqualify those that are representative of the genres here. P.S. Childish insults just because you disagree with an artist being included here will not be tolerated. Have a nice day. |

This one ain't bad either. Not as good as 'Heart of stone' but not bad at all. 'I found someone' is a pretty sweet AOR anthem, and 'We all sleep alone' is a great song I enjoy thoroughly. 'Main man' is also a killer ballad and 'Give Our Love a Fightin' Chance' is a cool rocker. Overall, we actually have another unexpected and pretty fine disc from Cher here. |

a def masterpiece for CHER and her guest star line up that offers a commercial radio friendly pop rock sound with many guitar solos and thrilling keyboards along with big hits like "i found someone","main man","perfection","bang bang","give our love a fightin chance" and "hard enough getting over you"!essential |
